Fellas, Omari was not much of a player in pre season against Colchester. He sat out some games at the start of the season and then came back better, and kept improving all season. By the end of the season he was worth the £20m and he is going to keep improving. If the team is doing okay in general he’s going to be unplayable and I wouldn’t be surprised if he was playing Champions League football in a couple of years from now.

Wasn't he supposed to be the next big thing out of Barcelona,.just like that lad we loaned in from villa...
He was tearing it up at the beginning, top quality but then boom....massive injury after massive injury, his confidence is shot, needs a new start and to rebuild confidence

Gaffer here again, sorry you have missed my erudite debating, but recently lost my young brother, always a shock.

Regarding Omari we all love him and how he developed and thrived under McK.
I am sure this turn out to be a great deal for a player nowhere near his ceiling.

I think he was the stand out player in the Championship. He was unplayable.

In my time some of our best signings were Paul Mariner, Marcus Stewart, and
Finidi. My fave tho was Gio was the best loanee we ever had until Omari.

I think he was comfortably the best player in the division by the end of last season. Just unplayable.

Cant wait to see how he gets on.

Sorry for your loss, Gaffer, hope you’re holding up okay mate.

Regarding Hutchinson, I agree it’s a good deal and he’s a good player. Took a while to adapt to McKenna’s system and the Championship, but I think he was comfortably our best player in the second half of the season. For me, his best position is in that number 10 role with Burns on the right. I’d like to think Hutchinson would give some Premier League left backs a tough time though.

If Omari dazzles and performs well in his first prem season, he will be worth all of £40m by 2025.
1st of all, sorry for your loss. I agree with this 100%. Transfer fees are going up, by buying younger players, there is a massive upside on sell on fees etc. the club now has forward thinkers in positions of power and are setting us up for success in the long term as well as now

Erm… so Hladky is now a free agent after failing to agree a new contract. This is awful news for Town - not just because we don’t have a goalkeeper, but also because it sends the wrong message to all the players about how the club values them.
