Some good support(and some less so) on Talking Balls site for the protest re Udders-Hull match.Foxes from the area have said they will join the march in Lester colours. This will be seriously appreciated.Obviously I would not expect people to travel great distances to be their but anyone in the area will be most welcome-especially from Lester with whom we are a wee bit fixated since NP moved over.Good chance to show the police that despite the banter we can all march together and have some fun.
You lot didn't support us when Norwich deemed us "high risk" and stole our seats Yes it's bad what there doing and were behind you but it's you who have to take the stand against it.
Would have come had I still been back in Yorkshire, but now back in LC- just in time for when we have no games during international break, and the lads are rewarded for their piss poor results with a trip to sunny Portugal. Life's unfair...
I agree with the OP, less so with posts that have followed, but hey ho, some people will never realise that this is about much more than simply Hull or Huddersfield, but how football supporters are treated in general by the authorities, and until a united stand is taken nothing will change, this time it's our turn, the next time it could be you. One question, are you seriously happy to be treated, at times, and at certain games, like criminals with absolutely no supporting evidence?
... no mate ... with you 100% - in my time I've been wrongly ejected (Birmingham away) arrested (Man City away) for the stupidest of reasons (got an 'absolute' discharge on that one) forced to stand in a cattle car on the train (Sunderland away) and forced to make my own way back from Hereford (FA Cup) all down to bigoted coppers with an axe to grind ...
I did not know(ignorance on my part) about previous crap situations with other clubs.I regard all local team supporters as basically the same.I have enjoyed the banter since NP jumped ship but I think this is not a single club issue. This could affect you again. It is not a Hull City matter in isolation. Our matches against you have seen bigger away turnouts than usual and I for one have enjoyed them.I would not want to see future away supports reduced because it is uncomfortable for the police. Thanks to those who have offered support and up the foxes!
Your match against Norwich was nothing more than a reduction of your ticket allocation. We've also had a reduction in our ticket allocation, but it's very much a secondary issue. The issue here, is not being allowed to travel freely to a football match, due to the assumption that you're all bunch of criminals, when no offence has been committed. If you find your games to Derby and Forest are bubbled and you are forced to travel from the KP on official coaches in the future, then you'll know how we feel. Any football fan who thinks this is nothing to do with them, deserves everything that's coming their way. And following the courts decision on charges for policing outside grounds, it's definitely coming.
^ This Do you understand that Charlie, Proud? Surely you aren't so dim not to realise that this is part of a wider issue often referred to as freedom of movement, and that it will slowly be rolled out to other poor unfortunate clubs. What's next, not allowed to display your club colours on match days? Crazy? No crazier than the stipulation being put on our travel arrangements to Huddersfield! Fosse thank you for your supportive post.
Well over 90% of Derby's away following travel on official transport They are all on the same minibus.
Sorry, he started off by calling us "Lester", and then I saw who created the thread, and didn't read the rest as I was certain it would be his usual bollocks that I normally don't care about
Your not the first club that has had this imposed and probably wont be the last You never supported us when we was deemed "high risk" and had our allocation cut down. Or when we got banned from Milwall for no reason No one supported our case then so dont expect when things go against you that everyone else will fight your corner
Proud are you really saying that to bubble football matches for no reason whatsoever is ok because it has happened before and will happen again!!?? We are not asking you to "fight our corner". We are suggesting that you stand up for the rights of all football supporters because this practice is likely to increase, particularly after WYP lost the court case with Leeds
Oh dear, how short sighted can one person be? You just don't get it do you, no one is asking you to support Hull City, IN ANYTHING, what we are saying is that NOW is the time to make a UNITED stand, for the good of football supporters as a whole. Take those parochial glasses off and stop the pettiness ffs!
As i said. Where was you when we got treated like this? Where was the UNITED stand then? We just got you lot coming on here taking the piss "If you had been given the normal allocation you wouldnt of sold half of it anyway"
