Watching from afar the banter with Hull City fans it reminds me of when McGhee jumped ship for a "bigger club" and MoN arrived to steer us toward the promised land.

There is no guarantee NP will turn us around, even though the play-offs remain within touching distance.

    Careful what you wish for.

I was thinking about the McGhee issue yesterday and I could never really understand why he did leave us for Wolves when they weren't any bigger or smaller club than ourselves, still it's more about money even more so now!

Only time will tell I guess.

Hopefully we will get some continuity through loyalty money.

Every time I think of Mark Mcghee, two things spring to mind :-
    1) A certain song by the Monkees
    2) Getting pissed in Madrid in our Europe quest, whilst Wolves were playing in the League Cup at Fulham (who were then 1st Division), and returning home and sending off the postcard to Molyneux.

Nigel doesnt need to turn us around. We arent doing badly, we just need someone to get the players playing to a decent level on consistency

Stangely enough Mountain I also turned my thoughts to McGhee yesterday - I remember us playing WBA away where Pontus Kaamark was the best player on the pitch by a country mile - bossing the game from right fullback. Kaamark and Corica were two excellent signings and we started to play football 'the right way' under his tenure. I suspect that our modest spending plans, our then ground and his personal terms were 3 pretty good reasons for moving to Molyneaux at the time.

Was that the game where Kalac made his league debut. We were 3-0 up at half time, Stuart Naylor was practically crying and then Kalac's genius let the back into the game?

Was indeed the 'Spider's' less than impressive debut
