You see that is why I no longer tell jokes. It's not that I am not funny, I just need a taller audience.
Thank God that the bomb didn't explode like it should have done. Otherwise there would have been multiple fatalities.
Despatch from France... Cloudy day and cool. Only 22ºC. Drove to Beziers and looked around the place. Bought a new hat to add to my collection. Only €6, and a nice trilby-esque style. Then back for an evening meal of chicken with garlic, aubergine with tomato, mozzarella and garlic, and spicy grilled courgettes. Played Scopa afterwards, with Italian playing cards, until I got pipped at the winning post by one point. Bah! Discovered Briscola Chiamata while translating the rules. Must learn how to play that. Btw, drank an extremely cheap (less than €2 euros from the local Lidl) and lovely Chardonnay with dessert this evenning. Also I photographed several stacked tins of Cassoulet with price ticket in Lidl, which is not sold in GB stores, and is delicious. I shall be sending it to Lidl UK with the demand Stock This! Cheers.
How can anyone do this to another living animal , no matter what that animal is http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-northamptonshire-41270717
And don't forget the trauma suffered by the owners upon finding their pet. The police must take this very seriously (even beyond the obvious need to protect animals) as killing animals is often how murdering psychopaths start.
Too early for match thread so I thought I'd post it here. I don't make it to many away games so I'm being a little excited and premature
I'm hoping to get to this game but not too optimistic, there's going to be a lot of people after tickets.
