It would involve each division having 20 teams. This would mean 'only' 19 home games instead of 23.
This would mean a big loss of revenue for most teams -- or will it ?

On the 'positive' side - the report suggests that long mid-week trips for fans will largely disappear. It suggests that more games will be played on Saturdays. I must admit - I would welcome this move. Hopefully this might encourage a few more people to attend a live game. Also, there are far too many games played on Tuesday nights. Although I have no problem with attending these games -- what I have always objected to is 'lower' league teams being compelled to play fixtures on 'Champions League nights.' It is so unfair on L1 & L2 clubs to have to compete with the saturation of television.

Instead of introducing a scheme where lower league clubs have less revenue - due to fewer home games, the FA need to have a fairer distribution of TV money.

Unless we get extra income from tv or premership this would see more clubs fold. Bet season ticket price does not come down either and prices will go up as less home games. So for me its a no unless prices come down.

The FA have said that clubs won't be 'disadvanteged' - which suggests that there won't be a loss of revenue - but how ? Are they suggesting that they intend to have a better distribution of cash to make up for the loss of revenue that would be suffered by fewer home games.
Well - actually the FA haven't said anything of the sort - and not since at least 1992 ( Sky )......... and if we think anything will change, we'll have to look to the sky - because there'll be a squadron of porcine aviation...... and if ticket prices reduce significantly, there will also be an infestation of white flies.

edit - you note I said 'better distribution of cash' and not a fairer distribution.
