Lescott? Why?

    Is it just me or is he the most over rated defender ever?

    His defending is ****.
    His control is ****.
    His passing is ****. (Why does he hold onto the ball so long, so he ends up giving a hospital ball?)
    Even short couple of yard passes he fails to get to feet.
    His decision making is ****.

    If we had another proper defender alongside Jagielka we would have been quite comfortable.

    Managing to get radio five live here, (but don't ask how) listening to Green and Lawro. They both questioned Welbeck coming on to play on the left. Did he ever play for Everton, because I don't recall....only Lawro seems to think he played on the left for them. I know he played there on occassions for us, but for Everton?

    How come Johnson can run fast going forward, yet goes at a snails pace when defending?

    Can't fault the effort, a bit more composure we would have won. Defor goal should have stood as defender had arm up as well but he went down so gets verdict. Modern day tactic unfortunately.

    How the **** Andy (Irish International) Townsed EVER commentates on a game of football I have no idea! I would make a better commentator and I'd be ****e at it!
