I doubt Lita is that 20 goal a season striker that we would like in our squad. He might not be bad as a squad player but we've got plenty of them - we need someone who will score goals consistently and I don't think Leroy is that man. I think it might be agent talk to get Bristol to hurry up over Maynard.
I think, looking at his record, you'd probably make a conservative guess that he'd bag 10 - 15 goals in season for us; with a good team around him. I believe in Waghorn, Nugent, King and Gallagher we already have several players who can do this, and perhaps Howard or Vassell may get double figures if played down the centre on a regular basis. For me, if we signed him, Sven would be going against his ethos of signing better than what we already have or adding a type of player that doesn't already exist in the squad. If we aren't going to get a top class forward at this level, I'd rather take a punt on an unproven premiership youngster than an average striker - Perhaps Nimely from Man City, Sven brought him through in to the first team; scored 15 goals in 11 games for Liberia U20s..???

I have always rated him. He has power, pace and can finish, I reckon he'll do pretty well as a squad player but we need a 20+ goal a season striker
Your getting carried away I cant see Kermo being picked ahead of Vassell down the middle, although it looks as tho hes climbed the ladder above Waggy if we are willing to give him away.

Lita needs a decent team behind, he never really got that at Borough, i think with the quality you have, he will bag you 20+ easily! If you had Lita and Maynard up front, that sounds like an awsome partnership....
