Thoughts? Apparently playing for us v Braintree tonight.

He's one player I actually know personally. My friend Dave Burborough was offered 4th choice striker terms at Bristol City back when Lita left. However, Lita hadn't yet left at this point and I used to meet him and have lunch with him. By lunch, I mean he'd buy myself and Dave KFC...... Dave ended up turning down Bristol City and going back to work in law meaning I was out of a job! ( was covering him for 2 months ) however he did make us quite a lot of money out of betting Lita would go to Reading @ 20-1. Thanks Lewoy ( he has a lisp )

Big time Charlie this lad, Wu Tang clan wannable. I also remember when he had a bad leg injury at Reading he came back with a walking stick and went clubbing. Saw him acting like an idiot along the waterfront!

If he hasn't changed, him and Taylor will hit it off from day one. May aswell get Danny Haynes back while we're at it so them boys are at home!

About 3 seasons too late is my initial thought but nothing wrong in giving him a trial and see how he performs

Always thought he was a good player but feel that time has passed!!! Doesn't seem like a very Mick like signing i.e. even in his prime but certainly not now he's past it and seemingly one of those players with talent but perhaps not the right attitude, I can't see this one happening tbh..

Owen Garvan on the other hand, yes please make this happen. He's exactly what we'd need in the centre, I think him alongside Hyam would be a good partnership and one which I wish we'd given a chance rather than the overpriced prima donnas we had since ME came in

Yeah, this doesn't fill me with a lot of hope, mostly because of his recent goalscoring form, which has been sporadic at best, and the fact that the deal is a few years too late, as tractor bhoy rightly said.

Hopefully he can rejuvenate his career here, if given the opportunity. We could do with another striker or two because when McGoldrick was injured towards the end of last season, we looked short of options up front. Sadly, if Evans isn't going to offer the cash again this summer, then the likes of Lita are the standard of player we're going to be linked with.

Lita's attitude is half the issue, he has the ability. That said, at 29 and a point to prove?

I trust Mick's judgement on players too. SEB was worth a spin, didn't work. Lita would have a chance of working unlike Ellington for instance. How the hell did Nathan Ellington's representatives get a two year deal out of us!? Top work........... sadly at our expense!

Garvan is crocked mate, and he would not partner Hyam, we all know mick loves Skuse (wrongly as he is gash)

The thing about skuse is that he does the dirty stuff which goes unnoticed, he needs somebody with the guile beside him to do the fancy dan bits, but he protects the back 4 very, very well which is his main job.

as for Lita, unsure but would probably worth a go for nowt.

If you call giving the ball away cheaply ' doing the dirty stuff ' then your right, sorry Gury but what i saw, albeit after christmas and only about 6 or 7 games, he was bloody awful!!

did he really give the ball away that much? he needs somebody beside him in the garvan mould ( and i wasn't his biggest fan) to give the ball too.

Skuse started the season well and I was very impressed. But when he dipped he really did underwhelm. In fact when we were bad - he was the worst player on the park.

He is a tidy player who does the simple things well, but he ins't mobile or strong enough to be a holding midfielder as he has been found out to be a wet lettuce too often at the latter stages of last season.

I'm hoping the break will be good for him and he can get a bit of fire in his belly as it was becoming increasingly common that matches were passing him by as we got toward the end of the season

Skuse for me does what hes good at well but does have serious limitations. Garvan was a player I wished we had never got rid of and his vision would be welcomed but a midfield duo chosen from Garvan/ Hyam & Skuse would have 1 speed and that would be tortoise like!

Surely there is no risk or harm in giving Lita a 1 year deal with a further option!
He is a proven goal getter at this level and if his wage demands are sensible then I say we should take him! <ok>
We need a goal scorer up front who thrives on half chances like rebounds off the keeper as an example.
Goldy can score the Worldies and Lita can score most of the 'regulation' goals.

you seem to forget Litas role in removing one of your guys by sprinting 100 yards from a free kick to tell the ref he had a spot of blood on his shirt, this left Fotheringham I think unmarked to score :)
