Strongly rumoured that Burnley are taking him on a season long loan. Laudrup is steadily working through the list by the looks of it....only Orlandi and Moore left of the maybes.
Good news if true. He did well when he came on but just didn't get enough game time. Still not convinced he's up to Prem level though.
Is it me or am I the only one who thinks Orlandi has something to offer and can do well for us given a run of games???
I like Orlandi, can see how Laudrup would let him go to make room for his own players though....hardly played over, what is it?, 4 years now.
He divides opinion. Mine is that there is a lot of talent there that ML might unleash. Can be the best passer in the squad on his day but he needs more of them.
Flatters to deceive on times but really did well when he played last season - away at Villa he was outstanding. He is certainly the type of player that may well flourish with Laudrup's guidance.
The thing is the Boss has indicated a smaller squad so will that squad of players include some who may or may not make the standard that will be set
Glad to see Lita go, not sure he really fitted in with our squad and it will leave space for one of Laudrup's choices.
I agree about orlandi staying. he has the potential as a match winner......keep him and moore imo. leroy to be fair has not had much game time and would have liked to have seen more of him last season but we have to let players go to bring in new players and he is an obvious candidate, I hope we can loan him out with a view of selling if he impresses his new club.....
Orlandi is technically a very good player, his only weakness was, that he was light in the tackle, but I'm all for keeping the lad, as for Lita both myself and Jager made our views known before Rodgers signed him, that we didn't think it would be a good signing, to me he's a square peg in a round hole here at Swansea! Glad he's on the way out...
