Playing him with the U21's is nothing short of an insult to such a great player that has served us so long, Leon is Mr Swansea city and this is one decision I think Monk and Huw have got badly wrong. Matter of fact I think Monk is acting like a nugget in relation to Leon, and surely the club should accord Leon more respect than this for what he has done for us. I see this more as a Monk issue than Jenkins, but surely the board should sort this out, it's a bloody disgrace Monk. PS: I hope another Premier team come in for him!.........
Dragon are you sure that it isn't Britten that didn't want to go to Germany as he is looking for a guaranteed start which sadly he will not get with us. Yes he still has a place I feel within the squad but is Leon happy with that?

It was Leon's decision, but it was the only sensible decision he could take given that Monk told him he would get very little game time on tour, and it's this poor management stance by Monk that is causing the issues with Leon. Leon does not expect to play every game far from it, but what Leon doesn't like is the way Monk is ending his first team football period, Monk has told Leon he will basically get no football whatsoever? ?
Hopefully if he leaves he'll get the chance to play in a home friendly so we can give him the send off he so deservedly deserves. Imo the best of them all.
