Once he was played centrally by moyes he grew in confidence. Even when asked to play wide anf out of position he never went and hid. He has improved again this year under Martinez, his Fulham and last nights goal show how good he really is. Or the City header. .....the list goes on and on.
All about taking chances. Could have been different if McCarthy didnt get that tackle/block in early doors. Plus a wonder goal by Barkley, great show by Stones and Deleofou helped!
