Hello everyone on not606, Just wanted to praise the work that Leon Barnett and Russell Martin have done as a central defensive partnership, I think that Russell Martin put in a good block on Luis Suarez's shot to keep Liverpool down to one goal. I think that the team as a whole have done a very good job and have made it difficult for other teams to beat us, and have played well against Liverpool, Chelsea and Manchester United. It feels good that we have a consistent team and that it hasn't been changed for the last few games. The performances that they have put in against Manchester United, Chelsea and Liverpool should me that Norwich might have a good chance of staying up, but I know that we are only in the early stages of the season now. Spot on. I was going to write about Barnett as he had a brilliant game for us against Liverpool. He only made one mistake all game and he was my man of the matchss.
agree. i've been mightily impressed by both. barnett had a reputation as a loose-canon at west brom - brilliant one minute, amateurish the next - but he has been outstanding, especially on saturday. best player in a city shirt, even better than ruddy imho
