It would be fine if we wanted to play with a flat back four![]()
I do not support gambling and will not buy the City replica shirt because of the LeoVegas logo and think supporters should be allowed to purchase the replica shirt without the LeoVegas logo on it and have it transferred on if they wish as I am sure there are other fans who do not like gambling but would like to buy the current shirt but not promote a gambling firm. If Children can have a replica shirt without LeoVegas on why can't the Adults?Hello all
I'm not sure of the length of sponsorship that LV have with us, but I for one would prefer a decent sponsor that frees us of the shackles of a lowlife operator. I have a family member who is 30k in the red due to the nefarious nature of companies like this. I'd like the club I support to seek a better sponsor than the current lot. Would be lovely if we embraced a charity, for example, to adorn our shirts. I know the profit to us would be peanuts, but the tangible gains for society far far better a reward than our current sponsorship label.

Because our club took their filthy lucre! I wonder if we all claimed to follow Islam where gambling is illegal we could get the club to have a non-gambling logo?
I don't really care what's on there as long as it doesn't much up the design (Bloody Aviva!) I love a flutter and do an acca on the football every weekend and whilst we were in the Championship several midweeks too, I also bet on the golf majors and the grand national. i only ever put £50 in my account in any month and take out £100+ if I ever get to £130 or more, always leaving £30 to carry on with. I have had two good years on the trott making about £700 two years ago and £1900 last year. This year I am breaking even after Winning £225 in Feb and taking out £200. I've also had a couple of small wins. As with any gambler, you're hearing about my wins! Pretty much every year since my mid twenties have been losses on the whole over the years, be that small at £20-30 down or near enough the whole £600. Those years don't half bring it home how unpredictable football can be!
I keep within limits and don't see a problem with controlled gambling. I do recognise that too many folks do not have that control. But is it so much worse than all the other things that people get addicted to? Just like alcohol, 19 out of 20 can handle their gambling/alcohol. The 1 in twenty who can't can, ruin his/hers life and all those around them, from family to employers. Should we ban alcohol and gambling? No. Alcohol is still advertising along many high profile sports so why not bookies?
I too don't like the crappy looking leovegas logo!
Bah!

"There was an excellent question from a gentleman with regards to whether the club feel comfortable with having a gambling company as a shirt sponsor. Ben Kensell answered this by saying that the club had to take this option as their offer was 3x greater than any other kind of sponsor, and they simply had to do it for the money. Without wanting to assume something I have misinterpreted, it seemed to me that the club is a little uneasy about the situation (considering how much of a community club they are trying to be) and BK made a point of noting that there is a break clause in the contract with LeoVegas should Norwich get promoted.
So we have the opportunity to review the contract this summer, but the chances are we'll either end up extracting more cash from LeoVegas, or we'll end up with an equally morally dubious sponsor who outbids them.
