Don't worry you've got Januzaj instead. It was an odd call to let him go out on loan, I though the looked good before he went and was one of your few players to show actual flashes of quality in the final 3rd. Oh well. Do any of you expect him to come back or is this a loan pre-sale?
Not a bad effort from Rooney either, but is it me seeing that he just turned away and no-one went to him either? Seeing how some of the big names performed tonight maybe we are not the only club in disarray.
"Make no bones about it, we're going to be in a relegation battle" *Loan out Dutch international without replacement* Good shout that one.
More than likely, and we'll more than likely never know. What we do know is he'd been training hard and looked in good shape. Early performances also showed he looked up for it. Even if we'd kept him he wouldn't have saved the sinking ship but he'd certainly have helped try.
Why did you have to go and remind me of this fella? I try to forget - another ****ing masterstroke from our shambles of a club.
Just think, if the two goals shipped by ManU today had been by us then there would be an outcry about our two defenders should have taken the ball before the overhead kick, or what was our ****e goalie doing by not moving after he had set up the wall. Just an observation.
Indeed a right Moyes mess - Short is responsible for financial support and direction - not all football issues. But owner Short is to be held to account - as were many of our previous owners /boards, for our failures/under performances in my lifetime of support since early 60's.
We let Lens, Giacc and Kaboul leave for the grand total of 5m and replaced them with Papy, Januzaj and Anichibe who cost 8m and whatever loan fee we paid for Januzaj. Imagine the difference them 3 would have made this season.
This is exactly why Short falls short as we cannot blame bad football advice - this is financial gross incompetence
Not just his goal which was special but he played well all game, some of his passing reminded me of last year when he and M'Vila combined with such ease. Dick looked well too, not missing us much by the looks of it.
Ive liked ya post tees but in all honesy its p*ssed me off reading that. What a bunch of cocks running our club.
Ellis Short bought into an idea sold to him by an iconic Irish dip-**** that had no finacial plan B and was desperate. Ellis Short has no interest in football, just making money but he was sold the frame and wanted the full picture for maximum benefit after seeing the fruits of a dedicated fanbase and TV revenue. He had no idea of the overheads and I doubt the local hero (zero) Quinn would have furnished him with the pit falls. What we are left with is a Texan who concluded his biggest takeover deal in the summer and a club starved of any form of life or imput and a man called Bain who to Rangers fans was the ultimate pain. Every manager we have had in Short's reign have criticised investment and sort of hinted that they would be backed when appointed? Tells me all I need to know about our hedge fund Billionaire owner..
Was this a straight loan, or with options to buy at a fixed price? Either way won't expect him back. Strange loan this one.
