It seems to me that Lennon's new tactic in an OF game is to maim a Rangers player in the first 5 minutes, because it seems that no-one is allowed to be sent off at the start of an OF game? Remember Stokes on Papac, which sidelined Sasa for a month(ish). Ki, the racist Celtic player also should've walked on Sunday, and he's got previous. Dunno though, it might just have been the craic?
****ing hell EDGE, you're fair going for it this morning! Maybe Lennon's cottoned on to the fact that referees are lenient in the first 10-15 minutes of OF games so encourages his players to go in hard early. Rangers used to do the same thing during Wally's first stint. John Collins got whacked in nearly every OF game.
That's my point ST, that refs are too lenient at the start of OF games, and let potential 'leg-breakers' go unpunished.
