Wasn't it reported in the press a couple of week's back that the new owners were after Phil Brown to replace Lennon.
It's so laughable you couldn't make it up. Only last week when the take over by Sports Shield was completed, Dean Holdsworth was interviewed by Granada TV and he said based on their last game it was clearly apparent that the players were playing for Lennon and were behind the manager, just as much as he was! I guess a week is a long time in football!
What a joke. Lennon is better off out of that shambles. Bolton are going down and deserve to. imo. 4 days is a long time in football these days.
Have Bolton been bailed out or are they still in the position we'd have found ourselves in if not for the Allams?
The sale went through, but they still need to find more cash, they're back in court facing another winding up order on March 21st. It's only £2.2m and as they've already coughed up £7.5m I assume they'll find it.
