It just shows how much he cares. I doubt many managers are as honest as he is. He may not always be right but he'll fight his corner unlike Tony "Take it on the chin" Mowbray.

I have no ide what he means when he says "It's personal" but I'm sure we'll find out on Thursday when he's up before the beaks, that will be interesting, apparently it's Dougiegate 2 - the sequel.

The best bit is when he says Hooper WAS NOT offside

The guys moaning about decisions going against him but can't even acknowledge when they go for his team

Nonesense ER. You're just an anti-Irish, Catholic hating racist who dislike Neil because of where he's from.

You see Edge it's like this I don't hate him because I don't know him.

It's his petulant aggressive, whingeing, in your face neddish outbursts (as a player and manager) that I totally despise. You just need to see his facial expressions when he is practically spitting in the referees or the linesmens faces.

There is not a single player in the Celtic squad that I dislike. They are good footballers and get on with things and are as free from diving as the rest of us are.

Playing the old "sectarian/religious card" is way too easy. I'm not saying there aren't twats out there who dont think along those lines on both sides of the religious divide, there obviously are.

It's not Lennon I dislike, it's his demeanour. He may be a very nice chap in personal life so I am in no position to judge that.

Is he not a bit old to be using Twitter?

It would be wise if he stays away from social networking sites till he can control his temper. The "personal" remark was ill advised it's now all over the media. Maybe that's what he wants, but he can't be that dense surely. He'll end up getting banned for about three months the way he's going. Do you think he'll take Donald Finlay with him now old Paul's gone?

I suppose it all deflects from yet another unsatisfactory performance on the pitch though.

Did he punch anyone like Craig Brown?

Did he threaten refs like Terry Butcher?

Did he call into question a referees allegiance solely because of his second name like Walter Smith?

    No

When decisions have gone against his team, and let's be fair he isn't making things up, there have been lots of decisions that have gone against Celtic incorrectly, he gets angry about it

But all teams have decisions go against them...

Have all teams had referees lie in a bid to hide what they had done to cheat Celtic out of a penalty in a game they actually won?

Did they have this go all they way up to the top man in refereeing?

Did the football association try and break their own rules to punish their managers without precedent?

If this isn't personal....God save him when it is

    Great post.

I think Lennon should have taken the Killie cup final defeat on the chin as Celtic deserved to lose that game. But that penalty decision on Sunday was pathetic. The ref couldn't wait to give it.

If Lennon had praised Killie then his complaint against Hearts would have more credibility. He's a bit like the boy who cried wolf at the moment.

Also how can someone compare a very marginal offside decision like Hooper's to that of a non-penalty being awarded? It does say that if it is close and there is doubt then the benefit of the doubt goes to the attacking side, so Hooper's offside was close enough that the linesman could be justified in allowing it. And again, a linesman missing or giving a marginal offside is nothing.

Giving penalties like that or indeed the usual at Ibrox (sending players off who are playing against Rangers and giving Rangers pens - remember the 2002-03 season anyone?) are not marginal decisions and in fact ones that are blatant cheating.

<laugh> as soon as timmy loses a few matches it has to be cheating. Must be the most paranoid bitter fans in Britain by a mile. If I kept a journal like you and harry hood do I could come back with scores of decisions that have favoured you and not us. It's called poor refereeing, it happens. You should be able to over come such decisions. Fact is you were beaten fair and square by both Hearts and kilmarnock. maybe if the £9 million rated Ki could score from 1 yard out you would have won that match on sunday.

    Hooper offside v hearts

    Stokes dived v killie
