Apparently no one has approached him so it seems quite strange. Obviously he has interest from the likes of us. Maybe he's trying to force some hands by putting himself out there.
Interesting, I think this is looking good for us as it fits the delay in the announcement that was hoped for last week.
Seriously ? No contact? Yeh right believe that if you want, you don't just walk out without there being something else happening. We DM must have tapped him up hence the the appointment not bring made last week but delayed to this week?
Really ? Why do you think that Guru ? The similarities between Lennon and Lambert seem quite a lot to me
Really don't rate him, seriously he should have been winning every single cup in scotland, hasn't really been tested apart from the odd european game when 9 times out of 10 he parked the bus and hoped for the best. you could do a lot, lot better than him. Plus he is the obnoxious person in football management. As weighty said, the ginger roy keane.
Looking at it one way it could be a sign of an imminent announcement. Looking at it another way it could explain the delay. Lennon to WBA - Malky to Celtic - City back to the drawing board if they were the 2 front runners. Personally I would have thought that WBA would have been more interested in Moyes than Lennon but who knows?
Give us some names Guru, we have been too'ing and fro'ing for months and can't come up with a 'really good' option that is realistic AND available
Attitude, Always in trouble. just my opinion, you probably have a different one? just like an asshole we all have one.
Horrible little man .....IMO would not wish him on anyone...I would take Roy Keane back before having Lennon.
oscar garcia is one. somebody who isn't available but you could tempt (I know DM likes his managers with jobs) is Eddie Howe at Bournemouth
If the Ipswich supporters don't think he's not a good manager, then we know he would be the right appointment lol..
I would have serious reservation about Eddie Howe after he returned to the south coast for family reasons, he could all too easily do it again. Garcia? Not sure, not convinced yet. I have seen a few on here mention him before but no-one seems to be inspired by him
He did have a habit of getting into trouble with the officials during his first couple of seasons but a lot of it was blown out of proportion by the press up here. Since the Rangers fans stopped sending him bombs in the post and Hearts fans stopped attacking him on the pitch he's calmed down quite a lot. Not sure if he's the right man for the job. I would imagine it would be quite difficult to go from a job where you're expected to win every trophy you enter to one where just finishing mid-table is seen as success (I don't mean that as an insult - it's just reality.)
