England could easily set up in the exact same system as Spurs, Lidls. You might see Lampard or Gerrard in their favoured role if they did, for a start. Capello has his favourites and he'll stick with them. It's unfortunate, but his insistence on Glen Johnson over Micah Richards has proved that, if there was still any doubt.
if Hr becomes England manager then expect Lennon to have a very prosperous england career..along with defoe..maybe Crouch too..i can see King getting a few games too....but hes Redknapp not the messiah so he wont get Bale to play for England.
Indeed, I do, Tots! The question was posed more for the benefit of any passing Goons, to enable them to reassess their blinkered view on the matter. I've always thought that Lennon was the better footballer. It's so easy to forget just how devastatingly good Lennon was, when we secured 4th slot, a couple of seasons ago; and it was hardly surprising to me when we fell just short of 4th last season, when Lennon spent most of it injured. With both Lennon & Bale fit, and with our first-choice defensive line-up, I'd say we are very much invincible.
Just so you guys don't feel your bait is wasted Aaron Lemon - less goals than Theo this season Aaron Lemon - less direct assists than Theo this season Aaron Lemon - less of a player than Theo every season Aaron Lemon - more fake last minute illnesses to avoid playing important games than Theo Bring it on boys .......
I'll refer you to my standard stat defeater, HalfFull. League stats for the 2010/11 season: Xavi: 3 goals, 7 assists. Chris Brunt: 4 goals, 11 assists. By your standard, this means Brunt > Xavi.
