Colin on the radio just stated he wanted to keep things quiet regarding Diouf and probably wouldn't have signed him yet but looked at him through the week, but then said: "unfortunately one of our young academy players went twittering. I tell ya, he'll be twittering on Monday when I see him" Any suggestions on how he is going to discipline young Simon Lenighan? Edit (update on hearing the interview for a second time) Warnock and Diouf met by accident 6 weeks ago and started chatting. Probably on holiday. They had a chat for an hour or an hour and a half, talking about their histories (eg sewer rat comments and Diouf's response) and they chatted about what Warnock liked and disliked about him. Sounds like it was two adults being open. He thinks he is a good egg in the dressing room - although he would not have wanted him in the dressing room if there were 4 or 5 frenchmen in there. Not sure what that means, but Eddie Gray laughed. Not sure he knew what that comment was about either. He is really happy with having Diouf but he is on a non-contract basis while showing what he offers, which suggests that if he does the business, he may get a full contract. That could possibly depend on Bates too. Which might also suggest Bates might tell Warnock whether to put him on the bench or not, or to bring him on or not.
Any suggestions on how he is going to discipline young Simon Lenighan? Threaten to sell him to the Wallies.. very cruel, i know, and he won't get a game for another 25yrs for them
