...which means our centre-back situation going into next season is, as it stands: Lees - half-competent, half-****wit. WILLINGLY KEEP. Kisnorbo - crocked. RELUCTANTLY KEEP. Bruce - incompetent tit. BIN HIM. O'Brien - lazy, ****e and overlooked by Warnock despite having plenty of chances to improve and get into the team. KILL HIM. Robinson - can play CB, but made errors and unlikely to be signed next season unless it's last chance saloon time. BIN HIM. Bromby - crocked. RELUCTANTLY KEEP.
O'Dea has been more consistant than Bruce and Bromby. I O'Dea is not good enough, why keep Bruce and Bromby?
Won't we have to keep Bromby now he's long-term injured? No-one else will take him on, so it's either pay up his contract or strap him to the treatment table for the remainder of his employment.
Lees - O'Dea was much better Kisnorbo - crocked. So O'Dea was much better Bruce - O'Dea was much better O'Brien - O'Dea was much better Robinson - O'Dea was much better at CB Bromby - O'Dea was much better So we got rid of O'Dea. And who the hell is gonna play at CB v Leicester? Defintely not someone as good as O'Dea, but we are still paying his wages. Daft, stupid decision that one, Warnock
Good thing nothing's running on the game then, isn't it? And Lees is better (and will be much better) than O'Dea.
I did wonder about the insurance aspect myself, but the more I think about it, the more I believe that insurance will only be paid out of the player is forced to retire through injury (permanent loss of an asset, effectively). Can't imagine any club would be able to afford full injury cover premiums.
