Looking at the stats it appears that Spurs have battered them all game, but still Leicester have come away with a victory.. For personal reasons I am gutted that Leicester are doing so well and want to see them collapse..
Waheey!!! I get to disagree with ya, ya commie bugger I'm chuffed for them! Small club makes good!! What's not to like?
Don't forget the roads out of Leicester. They're great as well! Just popped to their board to say well done. Pretty quiet over there. Probably getting pissed up.
Got to admire them for the survival last season as well as their efforts so far. A special mention for Nigel Pearson for assembling a canny team and Ranieri for keeping the momentum. They deserve to be where they are.
It's great for football generally, given the dominance of the money men for far too long. Just wish it was us......,good luck to 'em
Ditto mate..Me and our boy got combined fines of just under 12 hundred quid and that was in 1979!! On a separate occasion I also got left there by the coach, along with 43 other people by Northern Buses, and me and my mate ended up in a battle with Leicester fans as we made our way to the motorway in order to hitch. We only saved ourselves by coming across an empty crate of milk bottles which made them think twice and eventually backed off. I have hated the place ever since these incidents..
I believe I read somewhere in summer, Leicester have joined the money men - £180m sticks in mind, for the specific purpose of penetrating the top four. And I agree with Nostalgic in his appreciation of Pearson and Ranieri. I also agree with diddles - I'm not much into cheese, but Red Leicester is my fave. If I can add one other point, I saw Leicester at Roker Park when the man who scored more career league goals than anyone else in history played for them. His name was Arthur Rowley. Mid-1950s.
It wasn't the match when one of their lads threw a tear gas bomb in our end, **** me that made some space.
Owned by Thai's who own King Power a duty free shop. Taking the gamble and its paying of so far. Good luck to them.
Must admit I can understand why I got mine but it was initially self defence. If your being attacked you defend yourself. But then when a few of theirs fell over during the little melee maybe there should not have been so many kicks or stamps to the heads.
My best mate is a Leicester fan and I will never forget the look on his face when bob Lee lashed one in for us after we bought him off them.
