that was so wasteful from our side .. some players not even bothering to fight and acting like pedestrian we lack 2 young full backs who love to attack, and relying on 2 old players converted to fullbacks but most importantly there is no leader at the back someone should have been telling Smalling to not mark Maguire City are miles ahead of us points and form wise, we should accept the league is over and focus on finishing 2nd and try at least now to Win CL. but with such gutless efforts from some players, we may not even pass the next round in CL.
Taking Lingard off for Herrera was criminal, definite sign we were sitting back, Mata for Mhki was almost as bad. Jones was trying to arrange the defence when Smalling got injured but Herrera ignored him. Missing so many open goals must be a record and I said to my son at the time that the last few mins would end in a draw with the way we sat back (again).
Not been a been able to see the last four games but from reading the papers and listening to some of the punditry it seems we have completely lost our way. Who is and who isn't pulling their weight, who should and shouldn't even be in the side? From where I'm sitting you could be mistaken for believing the squad have almost given up.
I never intentionally missed a game until recently but that was the third game I've chosen not to watch this season. We're so boring these days. Don't suppose I missed much in this one.
I'd be surprised since I haven't seen us play any full on entertaining or attacking football all season. How often did we commit more than four men forward? Away against Leicester I'd guess very rarely if at all and not once after we took the lead.
it was frustrating indeed.. Meanwhile I see why he bring in Herrera just to keep the ball more .. but didn't work well
