Right after winning at Derby i would imagine there starting 11 would be the same but their are places on the bench. Nathan Delfouneso's loan has expired and with Darren Bent getting injured and Robbie Keane going back to LA its seems unlikely Villa will let us extend the loan. Jeff Schlupp played for the reserves today but its probaly too soon for him to be involved in the first team. Basically this is a massive game for us, we havent won back to back games all season and we need to get the Gorilla off our back and we have no better chance then facing one of the bottom teams at home. This is a must win for us, if we dont we might aswell just give up on the play offs. Matt Mills played for the reserves so either he is getting a second chance or he was put in the shop window but i cant see him managing to get in the team at the minute unless we have some injuries. So here is what i would play Schmeichel Peltier Morgan St. Ledger Konchesky Marshall Danns Wellens Dyer Nugent Beckford Subs- Logan, Bamba, Kennedy, Drinkwater, Howard
i would change Wellens for Drinkwater, we need to get on top of them straight away and Drinkwater is far more direct than sideways Wellens. Otherwise agree with your line up.
Despite the fact that I think Drinkwater has been excellent for us, I think Wellens will start - as captain.
Injuries apart I'd be amazed if NP changed the starting line-up - and Wellens and Danns were very good as a combination against the Sheep .... putting tribalism and blind optimism aside for a moment, I'm going for 9 - 0 to us...
Be silly to change it save for any injuries, if we don't win this one then we are destined not to win back-to-backs for the rest of the season
Yeah Alex Nimely is on loan from Man City and he has impressed me everytime i have seen him so far. But i cant see him getting much off Wes Morgan or Sol Bamba if he plays, but i think he may give St. Ledger some problems
You mean like how he made out he was Basil Fawlty and dropped to the floor playing dead when Maynard danced round him
We all missed you. The Hull troll war is now over, but will probably start up again in a few weeks with us playing them soon. But when we win they will all go away
Hey Proud - Always got time for you mate - I have been keeping a beady eye on Not 606 But if I'm honest with myself - I think I was PART of the problem - So I thought it best to stay away for a while to let it cool down - You'll note I said PART and not the cause
Everyone has now moved on, we still get the very occasional visits from Hull but they are now civilised. Great to have you back
Welcome back Danger Have to say well done to the mods (from both sides to be fair) for cleaning everything up and getting this forum back to how we all like it
Back to the chavs (sorry Danger - welcome back). Have they sold their 14 tickets yet, or are their dozen hard core fans waiting for a sale ?
