Just as I was typing the first comment he got the red....you couldn't make this up. The first half was boring me to death...this is much better.
Good result for us as it keeps them out of the play offs. Birmingham looked a useful side in the 2nd half.
Birmingham are 2 games behind everyone else dont forget.. once they catch up and play their games they'll be in the play-offs, knocking us down to 7th.
They'll be another game behind after this round of mid week games, though that does also give us a game in hand on teams around us. Their games in hand are against ourselves, Leeds, Ipswich and Burnley so if they pick up points from those they'll be up there and would then be considered as challengers for the top 6 places.
mathematically true but it's always better to have points in the bag. They are a solid side and I expect them to be top 6, wheras Brighton & Derby could fall away.
I know its naughty of me but I've been winding up the Leicester lot...Sensitive little souls that they are. I have to say that that performance even before they had Mills sent off was DIRE I think the Brum fans said it all towards the end: 'Premiership you having a laugh" At least we don't think we are promoted before the season kicks off.
I don't agree with creating threads like this, because it just leads to plain stupidity and immaturity beyond belief. But I can't blame you for making this point! The Leicester fans were so arrogant - on here anyway - before the season started, it's inevitable once they start losing games people will get on their backs. There isn't anything wrong with tipping your club for promotion, or sharing a bit of banter, but their confidence went well beyond that. So for now at least, we can enjoy their failings
