It sounds bizarre and certainly needs context. It all stems from 2005 when Ranieri was sacked by Spanish club Valencia and Flores was eventually named his successor at the end of the campaign. “Yes, big revenge…I want to kill him" “No this is football. He is a nice man. Why revenge?" Quique Sanchez Flores says his Watford players must remain humble in order to achieve the dreams of Hornets supporters this season. “It will be a harder game than against West Ham because at this moment Leicester are really confident and they play very well at their stadium. But we will have our chances and we will have to take them.” “So we analyse Leicester and they have reasons to be close to the top. They have a lot of variants to change a match. So we respect Leicester a lot and we respect Claudio Ranieri who I know is a very good manager.” Team news: The Premier League's top scorer Jamie Vardy has been passed fit after being troubled by an Achilles problem this week. Watford forward Odion Ighalo has recovered from a knock picked up against West Ham last weekend. Jose Manuel Jurado is again absent with a hamstring injury and Joel Ekstrand remains sidelined with a long-term knee injury. please log in to view this image
This site is driving me mad. I had a whole thread prepared with pictures, then it tells me there is an error, without telling me what it is. It doesn't matter how many tries I make to edit it, it will not let me.
Leicester manager Claudio Ranieri on striker Jamie Vardy:"Everything he tries to do, he does at 100mph and it's difficult. Also you can make mistakes, but in this moment he's in great form. Everything he does, he does well. That must continue in this way." please log in to view this image Watford head coach Quique Sanchez Flores : "Leicester are an amazing team, a tough team, a tough stadium so we want to win but it is important to recognise that we are a team that is improving." Vardy is only the third player to score in eight successive Premier League appearances. Ruud van Nistelrooy holds the record by scoring 10 goals in a row. Odion Ighalo has been involved in nine of Watford's 10 Premier League goals, scoring seven and setting up two. please log in to view this image
Usually I'd say we need to nick a goal and build on that but Leicester seem to get better if they fall behind! They are on a great run but so were West Ham...
Nice one OFH, 5 *'s from me. This will be a tight game, with Leicester very dangerous and scoring lots but coming up against a very well organised defence. I will go for a 2-2 draw, but I cannot make my mind up how it will play out. My heads says we will go 1-0 up, they will get 2 and then we will get a late equaliser. Getting the 11.00 beer train with a fair few from bandit country.
Sorely tempted to get one of the tickets going on facebook this morning but I have family do's every weekend til yuletide and beyond so household chores it is. I'll take a draw if we can get it. A win will likely see me as hungover as I was last Sunday morning...
Thanks OFH. This is one of my big ones (being surrounded by Foxes at work). Been thinking all week and can't quite decide the outcome. I'd be happy with a draw today so will go for 1-1. COYH!
Can just get BBC Leics on FM here so think I'll give that a go, trouble is, bound to get wound up by the bias. In fact just got a bit wound up after 10 secs, just turned on to hear 'the only thing is what happens if Ighalo gets injured or is bought in Jan, squad depth important in second half of Prem season blah...' Er, hello, ditto Vardy, in fact, probably more so than us...got to keep calm for the commentary at 3...
