@Stan has let the side down here so I'll step in. The game is today ( @Matth_2014 take note, match day thread) and it's at Filbert Street or something. 14.05 kick off, live on Sky Sports. The team is; De Gea Young Bailly Lindelof Shaw Matic Herrera Pogba Sanchez Lingard Rashford Not too shabby a side that.
Usual story from us here, I think we'll regret not scoring at least one more. Leicester will likely score one.
It was a pretty tough match. Leicester put in more than a decent shift and we did well to get all the three points. By the end, we were knackered! But these kinds of games show that the team has backbone more than flash. I also thought Sanchez is not an effective starter for us. Hopefully Martial can come back to full starting fitness in the next game. There was also a scene when Ashley Young was running with the ball through the middle (slightly to the right) on a counter attack but Lukaku was simply too stagnant to run into space and pull players away with his run - this is why Rashford will continue to be the main striker.
I thought there were a few sloppy passes that gave the ball away too easily today, Good display of fight and tenacity but not the recent standard of control, still we won and know we can do better.
He needs to lose at least a stone in weight before he's considered again. He's clearly overweight, which is taking the piss.
There was one point when Young was attacking and Lukaku was stood in the middle watching him. Young gestured at him to make a ****ing run.
He’s looked good going forward but can’t seem to defend. Let’s not forget what Young has done for United during his time with us. They’re not all Ronaldos and Beckhams.
