When I started to support Leicester in 1955 their nickname was the filberts,and I have found two Articles on Leicester"s nicknames. Interestingly at the end of the first Article, it talks about the post horn gallop. The Fossils, The blues, City & once apon a time SH-ity. I like the Foxes out of all of them, saying that if we weren´t called the foxes I´d of took the user name ´LEICESTER FOSSE 1884´... not bad tbh. Although I like the present badge, I´d like to see the fox & crop come back. Some one superimposed it on our latest shirt on FOXTALK & I thought it looked very smart...even better.
We have the fox and crop on a range of clothing - imho would look a bit out of place on modern kits as it isn't bold enough. I like the foxes head logo - I am actually after a belt buckle with it on
