Anyone else a little fed up with Leicester 'doing a Man City' and throwing money at everyone else's targets to get the best players in the championship? If the prem players like Yakubu that Sven is persuading to drop down wasn't enough, they've signed Neil Danns (rumoured to be a signing of ours), Kasper Schmeichel (who we should have been interested in if there was even a whisper that he might be available), Craig Mackail-Smith (who PJ said was joining a prem team and we couldnt match so ruled us out), and now they've agreed a fee for St. Ledger and been linked with Ched Evans! Come on Marcus, with our recent cash windfall we should be able to challenge for at least one of those signings, get your chequebook out!
Look on the bright side, it has been reported that cresswell has chosen us over WBA and is set to sign anyday!!
I would have thought 1.2 million is a fair price for him, we should match it and let the player decide which team he wants to play for.
It's clear to see Leicester have got some real intent this season. My girlfriends family are all Leicester fans and one claimed Sven wanted to reunite Heskey and Owen upfront at Leicester. Wouldn't put it past him............ It's clear they are the big spenders and "buying" their success but we need to realise we dont have that sort of money...... Until yesterday, but for some reason we have struggled to lure players to our sleepy backwaters and more London and centraly located teams have snatched targets off us. As for St. Ledger if we dont atleast match the price and have talks then I'd seriously start to worry. £1.2 million isn't a ridiculous amount, considering £2million+ was banded about in January
WOW you have found out that Sven is sitting outside Paul Jewels house in the evening and stealing all his transfer targets, its as though Sven doesnt know who he wants to sign so he is stealing advice from Jewel LOL.
Leicester fan in peace. You may be able to match transfer fees with us, but we have serious money men at the back of us, and I dont think (m)any Championship teams could match us on wages that we can offer. Good luck this season, and could you do something about the weather when we visit you.
