Slow day at work today... been discussing the finer points of opening day team selection etc and there was one name that a couple of us settled on as lb. I saw the u21's in action and think that we could do a hell of a lot worse than Chelsea's Ryan Bertrand.
Now I know jack about the new guy in charge of Chelski, but was wonderin if any one had any thoughts on Bertrand as a player, or if any one knows if the new guy likes to promote youth or bring in established players.
Possible loan deal with a veiw to Jan purchase???

I doubt that as I expect him to be our no.1 right back. No more square pegs in round holes, Bardo is a right back, that is where he should play unless we get another injury crisis.

There is no doubt we need to bring in a quality left back.

Completely agree - can't see how you can not play him there after the season he had

I think that last season proved that Bardo's best position is at left back.....by a long way! It gives him the opportunity to cut inside and unleash the Bardo bullet!!
