Marcus Antonsson is to be Leeds Utd's first Summer signing.

Antonsson is 25 years old, and plays as a striker for Kalmar FF in the Swedish league.

He is 6 foot tall and has scored 22 goals in 40 appearances.

Fee is believed to be between £1m - £1.2m. His club have confirmed that an agreement is in place but won't say with who.

There's a very clear link between Antonsson and Leeds - Pep Clotet was Halmstads head coach while Antonsson played there.

Some saying this guy, never heard of him to be honest and some sources still saying fletcher from scumchester. Thought Cellino was saying nothing could happen till after the board meeting on the 21st when he needs to "sort out a little problem" with the shareholders?

cash there for this one as savings on players lost, so no board meeting required. If this one comes off I like it and seen a lot of goals on line he looks good. The Fletcher thing has raiaed its head again this morning with stories of a £7k per week wage demand met, so again well done if it happens

Antonsson will probably be a bit player, like Antenucci was for us last season

I don't think Antonsson will be a bit player Elland, Monk will be aware of Woods limited abilities, even if Wood starts I think our other striker signings will relegate him to bench, then pushing tea trolley for tea lady.

Antenucci wasn't used properly, same as Somma, same as Adryan and some others imo.......:emoticon-0148-yes:

Antonsson and Fletcher, I would take both of them and IF they were to join it opens up some great attacking possibilities. Both a better prospect than Antenucci not sure which one would start alongside Wood.

    Hey'up Ristac,

I can't see either Antonnsson, Fletcher or Roofe starting alongside Wood, cos Wood'll be on bench.........:emoticon-0148-yes:
