We did the double over this lot last season and did them again this season, so surely this is the game that will make things look half-rosy again with an exuberant Andros Townsend out-pacing everything in his way, a resurgent Lees battering every ball thrown at him by Burnley's hoofers at the back and Grayson overenthusiastically celebrating in Eddie Howe's face when we get the winner? Sorry, I had to TRY imagining something positive at least. 1-1 draw and a tepid, horrible, typical Elland Road affair is my prediction. Well we pulled a result out of the bag against Hull earlier in the season then after the Blackpool shambles we turned Leicester over so what better time to turn it around again. I put money on Leeds at 4-1 against Hull and I quite fancy us putting our problems behind us with what would be an equally impressive 3-1
well i think it is anyone's guess who will be starting in the back line for this game, personally i'd play Bromby in there with Lees. But then i almost feel i cant comment on who has been playing well recently anyway since i havn't seen any of the last 3 games.
Got a sneaky feeling we might see a young right back today, maybe turner or even thompson. with lees partnering absolutely anyone at CB!
Apart from Lonergan starting in goal & maybe Bruce replacing O'Dea (he impressed at Huddersfield, so who knows?), your selection seems about right. I would have added Bromby to replace Connolly, but unfortunately Bromby's injured.
2-1 defeat, with Grayson running away as soon as the game ends, probably to find Townsend's girlfriend to introduce himself...it's worked on other players partners!
