    What's happened to Leeds United?

Let's backtrack a bit to the time Radz was looking for a new coach.

As the story goes, TC presented a Dossier on Leeds United and how Leeds, and what areas / positions needed improving, most, if not all of us are now familiar with that story. Radz it seemed was impressed
and hired TC. Let's not forget, by Radz own admission, he knows little about football.

We brought in a Director of Football in Victor Orta, who in turn brought in new players from home and overseas, with input from TC it seems as I believe Felix was TC's choice, amongst others.

TC got rid of some players he didn't want, some fans disagreed with some exits while other exits were supposedly justified.

First game against Bolton, we won 3-2, first game of season and some new players still finding their feet. This was followed by 2 draws, again, new players still fitting in and finding their feet.

Then we seemed to go on a bit of a rampage, good win in League Cup, and 4 convincing league wins,
Then the wheels started to wobble with a loss to Millwall, bounced back a bit with a penalty shootout win against Burnley and a somewhat wobbly win against Ipswich.

We were riding high on the crest of a wave sitting on top of championship table. Crowds had increased, football, by all accounts was better with a slight blip, every team has'em. We were scoring multiple goals per game and keeping clean sheets untill the Millwall game.

Many saw the wobble wobbling more against Ipswich, even though we won 3-2, after that match the wheels disintergrated and we got stuck in a losing rut for 3 games till we picked it up against Bristol City, then we lost again to Sheff U, that's 5 losses in last 6 games, 7 if you count the disastrous team selection and performance against Leicester.

So, what happened to the man who told Radz he knew where we needed to improve?

Brilliant start to season, fans so excited they were kacking in their undies, fans singing we're going up, great football, more goals, clean sheets then, wam bam thankyou mam the wheels fell right off.

I'm sure we all have our different viewpoints on what's going wrong, but there has to be a common denominator somewhere.

For me, TC tinkers with team too much, and does no repair jobs. He doesn't seem to see where our problems lay, imo it's mainly midfield, and TC is blind to seeing that. Where was Jansson and Cooper at start of the Sheff U game, what was the reason for leaving them both out, Pennington had a bad game. Anita, well, roll on when Berardi gets back. Ayling lost his man and Sharp was unmarked for his goal, on Aylings side.

Like I've previously said, someone seems to have shackled Jansson, he's playing like a granny on crutches, and what's with all the passing backwards we keep doing.

Some say Lasogga Isn't getting much service, well TC, try looking at the midfield, it's their job to provide that kind of service. What TC sees in Grot is beyond belief, and TC's subbing leaves a lot to be desired, personally, I don't think TC has an eye for a player.

Berardi mentioned after Reading loss TC didn't talk to the players afterwards, TC in his interview said he didn't talk to players after our 2-1 loss to Sheff U; is this a pattern TC follows after losses?.....is their something wrong in dressing room, or behind scenes?

Some say players looked tired during Sheff U game, I'd say they've been looking mentally tired for last 6 or 7 games, wasn't so long ago Ristac mentioned "how can a whole team play bad".

So where does the problem / problems lay?

I could go on and on but I'll leave space for others comments, if any.

Begining to see that Alioski isnt the player I thought we had. Saiz is better than expected but the two of them should learn when to release the ball, play the final pass, but they both bold it too long and kill the move or embarras themselves with row z attempts. Yes Saiz has scored goals but he could have made more goals. Lassoga needs the ball to score goals, but again last night the ball not being played into him. Lassoga cannot go chasing the ball if you want him to score, he needs to run on to it or get his head on it, last night he got crumbs and looked pants.

Defence ffs whats wrong. Pennington was ok for me but Cooper? Ayling is too far forward half the time, Pontus shyte, Anita, Berrardi or CBJ? We need a strong wall of 4 but can people shutthefuckupabout missing Taylor and Bartley. Taylor cant even get into a Burley team

Just to carry on from some of what you said,

When Alioski first joined he found his feet and was playing very good games, pace, dribbling, linking up well with Saiz etc etc, then he started getting subbed.

The line of Pablo, Saiz and Alioski was working for a while, then TC starting tinkering instead of not changing what wasn't broke.

Jansson ain't playing like he use too last season, or at beginning of season, he's playing like a candy arsed fairy.

Phillips needs to be yanked out of midfield, yes he's scored a few goals, but in midfield he does very little and certainly has no impact
    on game.

TC keeps bringing Grot on, can't see why, he never brings an impact and is slow and lumber some.

I think we'd be better off bringing Antonsson back, or resigning Becchio.

It's unusual for the whole team to play bad for 3 or 4 games on trot.:emoticon-0148-yes:

Once again muscled out of it.
No fight, no backbone. They roughed us up - 6 bookings- and got away with it.

And the first booking came in the second half, as I recall (but I wouldn't take that as gospel with my memory). They should have had about 6 in the first half. We were convinced the ref had forgotten his cards.

And all this screaming I've heard on here about Vieira being the answer in midfield? He wasn't, was he? Sadly.

Firstly on Phillips, he muscled players off the ball, he broke up play, he made some good passes and he was one of 3-4 Leeds players that can hold their heads up high yesterday. He went looking for the ball, a shame a few others never.

I seriously fail to understand how anyone can pick him out as a poor performer yesterday and on top of an all round decent showing his goal was fantastic. I totally agree with Doc on Alioski, sadly he isn't what we had hoped he would be.

I fail to understand why we bring Hernandez on, he hasn't got anything to offer, far better bringing on Sacko at least he has pace to scare the opposition.

Grot comes on because he is the only other striker we have and Lasogga was truly awful. Picking up on playing the ball to his feet: it would need to be from 6 yards out as he can't beat anyone for pace.

Lasogga is pathetic in the air, he doesn't get stuck in, he has no pace to hassle their defence, I'd rather have Morrison back. If that was Wood in his shirt yesterday he would have been crucified by some. Antonsson back would be a great call over what we have at the moment and I'm telling you now, Ekuban will be no better. The sky commentators picked up several times on Lasogga...

"He needs to go looking for the ball"
"He needs to stop standing on the shoulders of a defender and hoping something will happen"
"He needs to stop being muscled out, he is a big lad"
"He looked scared to go in for the ball"

I would have yanked him off at half time, we might as well play with 10 men!

Pennington, my goodness, if he is keeping Pontus out then something is seriously wrong, Pontus was quite composed when he came on, I thought he did okay.

Oh and Saiz, Alioski and TC... FFS stop asking the ref to show a card, it's embarrassing, it's a disgrace.
