A game which showed we played much better than against Brum, and we did, however, our performance against Forest is going to look a lot better than it was after the Brum performance, because of the Brum performance. Forest came out playing football, which suited us, but they came at us for the first 10 to 15 minutes and took us by a bit of surprise, but Leeds began to grow into the game, and for most part of the first half we matched Forest. Forest were playing good passing football, standard wise better than our football, and they seemed to know how to push us back and put us on back foot; even during first half you could see someone in Forest camp had done their homework. Bit of a blow on 26th minute when Ayling got injured and was replaced by Anita. Anita took over at LB and Berardi moved over to his favourite position at RB. Berardi did well considering he hadn't played at RB all season, another couple of games and we should see him back to his best in his favoured position. Anita, who hadn't played for a while actually didn't do a bad job at LB, he wasn't brilliant, and made some mild mistakes but overall he did a fairly good job. We had our chances during first half, as did Forest but it was all even at halftime. Hernandez, Saiz and Alioski as a unit worry all defences, even if one is having a slight off day, take one of them out and you upset the apple cart and we miss them, something most fans would agree on, but it seems TC doesn't see it. I think it was during the Hull or Burton game, Dirty Leeds wife mentioned that Alioski and Saiz play well together and they need each other. Halftime saw TC sub Alioski with Lassoga, and moved Roofe out to the right wing. Most, if not all fans have been flabbergasted with most of TC's subbings, but this one was completely baffling to everyone, even more so when Roofe was also subbed on 80 minutes with none other than Sacko; I couldn't make sense of it and when he subbed Roofe, it didn't justify him subbing Alioski. As Ristac quite rightly pointed out, we lost a lot down the right once Alioski was subbed. Through out the second half saw Leeds pick up the pace a bit, and both teams countered each other and had their chances on goal. Throughout the game Saiz was showing his worth, and why we miss him when TC doesn't play him, we needed him for the whole game against Brum, although TC said Saiz could've started against Brum, he chose not to start him, this showed, and highlighted how TC is not reading the games or the players. Felix by all counts had a good game, he pulled off some good saves to deny Forest at least 3 goals, and for his performance was rewarded with yet another clean sheet; as I've previously said, he seems to be a lucky charm as far as clean sheets are concerned. Milkyboy made the observation we were dire in midfield, and I agree with him, Forest were doing a lot of their build up play in our midfield. Phillips had a bad day, even Noel Whelan said same thing. O'Kane is only a shade of what he was at beginning of season, he seems to play with lethargicall movement, or he's on drugs, he did a couple of good forward runs at Forests defence but other than that, not too convincing. Game ended 0-0, it was a game we should've theoretically won, but the way Forest played, so should've they. TC said he was happy with the way we played, nothing new there; if TC tells the players he's happy with their performances, then it's going to be embedded in their minds, and the mediocre to ugly football standard will be the norm for the players. TC continues to say nothing when asked if he'd like to add more quality to the squad......the plot thickens.
