5 goals and still only short highlights.

Not much to say really, everyone who saw and listened to match seem to be in total agreement.

What's improved since Monk and whatyamacallit left.

1, Obviously scoring more goals, and from different goal scorers.
2, much better, and more exciting football to watch, even listening is more exciting.
3, Passing between players has greatly improved.
4, Players playing for each other, ie, side before self.
5, Midfield has improved and is getting better all the time.
6, Attacking mids bringing a big impact to the game by contributing to scoring goals.
7, More shots, and goals from the edge of the box by our attacking mids and wingers.
8, More confidence, players seem a lot happier when playing, total commitment for 90 mins plus.
9, A coach who is not a one trick pony, and he's prepared to rotate the players.
10, A squad with depth, not only depth but players who can contribute equal to those in the first 11.

oh yeah, the fans seem to be singing louder and for longer.

This is going to be a great, and exciting season for all Leeds fans and players.

    Enjoy.

With no malice obviously, but his name was Chris Wood, scored more 1 goal every two games for Leeds, not the best player we have ever had or will have but I think deserves little more respect than that IMHO

Mate, I've written War and Peace on the match day thread and was worried about boring everyone silly so can't do it all again but, yes, we were better than that good :emoticon-0148-yes:

If you can swing it, see you in the Peacock about 6.30 Tuesday, if not, Ipswich :emoticon-0167-beer::emoticon-0167-beer:

Lassoga, Siaz, Alioski best in the league at their positions.
    O'Kane & Phillips vast improvement
Hernandez can still match Siaz when hes on it
Roofe another improvement on last season
    Ayling, Pontus & Cooper

A keeper who may be pretty good when he has to be
Berardi & Pennington & CBJ to come back
Klich is class & will have to wait to get a chance
    Anita pretty good

    Ekuban, Grot & Cacscki

    Sako

Special, players for this level plenty of cover & still some to mature

    Bye bye Garry Monk

The one who earned Burnley three points today scoring two in two in the Premier League

Don't get me wrong, I'm more than happy with his replacement but he did the business for us and now he is scoring in a far harder league, the guy who has earned Burnley 4 points in two games <ok>

He’s doing the business alright but his stunt not playing in last game for us still annoys me a bit. But all’s we’ll, we’ve replaced him with better

Loving crippled Alice being sunk by Wood and confirming their place in unwanted modern day history!! <laugh>

First team since Preston in 1924/5 to lose their opening four games without scoring.

The only team in the top four divisions without a goal.

Crippled slags, four games, four defeats and no goals.

Don't get me wrong Eire, first impression of Lasogga and you feel we do have a better player but without Wood last season our enjoyment wouldn't have been half what it was, Wood didn't score, we didn't win was the norm.

This season we have goals in us in more positions, this isn't because Wood has left, we just have a far better and organised midfield. Not playing in last game, well again this has become standard practice when a big move is on the cards, it isn't right but " no shrugs shoulders emoji"...

Also remember, Wood had a bad deal from a section of Leeds fans at the start of his career, he probably felt we're a fickle lot and owed us nothing. I thank him for his goals last season and will probably thank him again for deciding to leave if Lasogga continues like this.
