    LEEDS UTD V BRISTOL CITY

Bristol City make the snowy journey to Elland Road later this afternoon looking to try to keep their first clean sheet of the season.
Having recently installed Sean O'Driscoll as head coach, City should be a lot better organised, and will have more self belief, but is it too late, as they find themselves six points adrift of safety. The fear of failure in City's dressing room has become a pernicious influence and was one of the reasons the club's board of directors took the decision to sack manager Derek McInnes last weekend.

Leeds welcome back leading scorer Luciano Becchio who missed the midweek game with the flu (apparantly). The Argentine is in contention for selection, as are midfield pair Michael Tonge and Ross Barkley. O'Driscoll heads to West Yorkshire without star man Albert Adomah. The Ghanaian is at the Africa Cup of Nations, while defenders Matthew Bates and Mark Wilson, whose contracts are set to expire, will not play.

    MATCH FACTS Head-to-head

    •
Leeds took their winning run against Bristol City to five, with an odd goal in five success in the reverse fixture in September; El Hadji Diouf got a second-half double for the Yorkshire club.

    • Bristol City last took points off the Whites with a 3-1 top-flight victory at Elland Road in November 1979.

•The Robins have registered three victories from 12 trips to the West Yorkshire club since 1921. Leeds United

    • Mid-table Leeds have won 11 and lost 11 of their league games, scoring 38 goals and gaining 38 points.

    • The Whites are challenging for a sixth successive home league win, and have not dropped a point at Elland Road since Watford's 6-1 win on 10 November.

    • Neil Warnock's side have mounted a divisional low 224 goal attempts, and are the only club not to be have conceded in the first 10 minutes of a Championship match.

We've no chance today. Eddie Gray reckons we'll win by a hatful. So as I say, we've no chance.

Having said that, wecould scrape a 3-0 or 4-1. I'm just about keeping the faith, & I may not be MOT, but I am tttst (Trudging through the snow together)

Is this the start of a purple patch for LUFC? Will the team start to gel and play football, running rings round the opponents and bossing a match from start to finish, with energy, purpose, precision and passion?

    I hope so.

It could go one of two ways, the ****e defenders we have decide to play football and defend with their life's or play like they did last Saturday. Last Saturday you could be looking high scoring or they decide to play and we might sneak a draw, but I don't hold out much confidence in that.

You can look forward to a goal fest boys, apparently Neil Kilkenny will be starting for us today, so you can control midfield at will..
