Not Saints related so apologies but I can't believe just how bad its got for them. What a massive mess that club is in. Not the most popular perhaps but a huge club with history... Who is the hell is that mad man of an owner they have. He sold a player because of their date of birth was an unlucky number or something! No decent manager would touch them. Relegation fodder I'd say.
It's an old story but true http://www.theguardian.com/football/2014/jul/03/massimo-cellino-leeds-united-paddy-kenny
and Matt Smith signed a 3 year deal with Leeds on August 18th and a 3 year deal with Fulham on September 1st
Why do Fulham think last seasons Leeds attack will get them back up. It didnt work for Leeds. #baffled
Not really, he was on loan and didn't like it here so returned to Italy. It was Taider's choice. It was the owner's choice to get rid of Smith.
It is a shame where they find themselves, their fanbase doesn't really deserve it, up there with best away support in country. I do hope they come up soon. The Prem would a better place with them in it imo.
No one likes Leeds. Leeds fans don't like Leeds. Leeds fans that don't like other Leeds fans, don't like Leeds. No one likes Leeds.
I think it's funny, having had a few bad experiences at the hands of Leeds fans. Pure madcap comedy going on at elland road (see how I can't even dignify it with capital letters), long may it continue. I don't watch any of the soaps on TV, but I'm an avid Leeds watcher, as I was with Pompey when they were collapsing before our eyes. Car crash entertainment I know but I never claim to be anything but shallow and easily pleased
They thought they had it bad when Ken Bates was chairman. But this bloke makes Bates look like a generous benefactor. Always quite liked Leeds myself. I begrudgingly admire the dour ugly wit of their dour ugly supporters. I have fond memories of them singing "what the fook is going on?" when they unravelling at the end of the Ridsdale era.
The owner also disapproves of his players living away, so he's made them all live in Leeds. He's a meglamaniac
I admire the Leeds fans for sticking with their club through thick and thinner. They have been in the wilderness for a long time. Their owner is like Cortese on a bad day but without the salve of success. The fans must be feeling very helpless at the moment.
