West Brom has lost just once in eight away trips and are the form team away from home! Leeds record at home is almost as impressive, winning eight out the the last eleven home games, with just two losses and a draw! Unfortunately Leeds goals have dried up, and to make it worse, they have started to concede. In their last eight games, Leeds have scored eleven, and conceded ten! It remains to be seen whether Bielsa will buck the trend and makes wholesale changes? Both Ayling and Roberts came in for particular stick from the social media boo boys after Tuesday nights performance. As did Harrison but to a lessor degree. Bielsa will have to choose between Alioski and fit again Douglas at left back! If he does choose the ex Wolves (so called free kick specialist), will Alioski play on the left wing instead of Harrison? Does the Leeds midfield need a shake up? Has Klich gone off the boil? What about Brown, surely he needs proper game time?
What about the wall and sheffweds. Both could do us a favour. Weds v utd not till monday. So if we can claw and scrape and fight for the points on friday the pressure is on the top two.
Twelve games to go and if we win six its 82 points normally thats enough.got a feeling this season it wont be. West brom is a must must must not lose.
This is a must win in my opinion, a home against one of the contenders a win will give the lads a bit of confidence and give us a bit of space between us and WBA I think lose, and its a scrap for the play offs for us
I read somewhere Wakey that average required over last ten seasons was 87. Cant remember where but maybe some of our statisticians can verify that or otherwise. That means we need probably eight wins so tomorrow is even more critical
https://www.thestatszone.com/how-ma...otion-in-the-championship-playoffs-efl-skybet Second place averages 87 points since 95-96 season 82 points gets you into 3rd, and 73 points for the last play off place
Playoffs I'd have bitten your hand off at the start of the season but because we did so well and at one point (I think) we went 5 points clear at the top, I'd see this as a major missed opportunity at the auto spots. I am a glass half empty sort of bloke (and expect a Shako to turn up and drink the other half) but for some reason I think we will come through this dip and expect others to lose a bit of form just seeing us get over the line.
Is it ale or Guinness In my honest opinion, I just can't see us beating them. A draw maybe. I just hope the boo boys lay off if we go a goal down early on.
I'd have taken the playoffs at the start of the season too, but like you LOL, i'd be disappointed now if we have to go through that lottery after the way we have played and been top for most of the season, hopefully this is a blip and we can get our **** together and smash WBA and head for autos
...no ****ing chance - you'd have a better chance of beating us. (in fact I know you'd ****ing beat us )
