Stoke City boss Michael O’Neill will take heart from their 4-0 home win against Barnsley courtesy of goals from Sam Vokes, Tom Ince and a brace from Tyrese Campbell which have lifted the Potters to 18th in the Championship, two points and four places from the drop zone. That was their first win at the fourth attempt since the season re-started, and one their best performances of the season. Leeds have collected seven points from an available twelve since the season restarted. They remain a point clear of second place West Brom and six points clear of third place Brentford who have a far better goal difference then the Whites. Marcelo Bielsa has confirmed that both Stuart Dallas and Helder Costa will play against Stoke City. The duo missed the last game through injury. Many fans believe this would be unfair on Douglas and Alioski who both played well during their 3-1 win at Ewood Park last weekend.
It's rather depressing if I'm being honest. To see someone who's been widely ridiculed on here for years achieving his aim to recruit supporters to his warped ideology and now watch on with glee as they defend his right to free speech and even worse champion and support aspects of his divisive protestations sickens me. Now on to the match... Do you think Costa and Dallas should be recalled if fit ? Personally, I'd bring Costa straight back in for Alioski and give Stuey Dallas an extra few days to recover for the tricky away match at Swansea.
I thought I read (on here?) that Bielsa had announced that both would play. Personally, if it was my choice, I'd leave Douglas in, given that last performance, and as you say, give Dallas a wee rest. Costa's a toughie for me. Bielsa obviously sees something in him that I don't. I know he can do it, but I only see fits & starts, and mostly for me it's more fits than starts. So it's the fence for me on that one. Your thoughts?
Going on when we played Stoke in the Carabao I'd say Costa should be the choice. They played a full side that night and Costa scored as well as causing them endless problems out wide. Players usually remember things like that and I'd say he'd be full of confidence taking them on again.
You have a go at me Jammy about talking politics on the wrong thread. As for LL you don't like him, WJ doesn't like him, a lot of people don't like him, I get it, but maybe there are people who don't like your politics, or WJs politics, it's all part of life. But this agenda against the one 606er is getting tedious. For the record he's done nothing on me and I'm not going to be told who I can or can't converse with. Without meaning to repeat myself, block, report, ignore, it's that simple. If the mods see or think he's overstepped the mark well let them deal with it and maybe he gets a ban. But there's one thing I bet he doesn't do is to try and get this site shut down or any of the mods in trouble. I hope you don't take my comments as a personal attack on yourself, I'm just giving my opinion on the subject.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts...that's what we're here for. I'lll continue to do likewise and so can everyone else if they so choose.
I never said not to Jammy. If I was at a meet up with you, having this conversation would look and sound totally different.
