Leeds have no new injury worries, after brushing aside Reading midweek. Bielsa, being a creature of habit is unlikely to deviate from a winning team meaning Izzy Brown will be warming the bench again. Blades on loan striker Gary Madine starts a three game ban after seeing red during their 2-0 win over Brentford on Tuesday night. Billy Sharp will be looking to add to his 23 goal tally for two reasons. A brace will see the 33yo become leading goalscorer in the Championship, and secondly, to get one over on Leeds following the disappointing spell he had at Elland Road 5 years ago! Who would make changes to the starting XI? If you were given the choice to share a point a piece, would you take it?
Pontus today described it as the most important game of any of the players lives and urged all fans to get in an hour early to create an extra special atmosphere. Shaks has an exemption as will be very busy for that hour given the early kick off. I’d suggest this is also one of the most important games in the lives of us long suffering fans too
Hard to change a winning team, nobody really deserves to be dropped. I know it goes against the grain but I’d like Douglas back in the team at LB and Alioski on the left in place of Harrison. I wouldn’t mind Clarke wide right and Pablo in Roberts slot. Shackleton, Douglas, Clarke all on the bench and maybe Berardi too, at least there are plenty of competent players who can offer Bielsa a few options. Ask me with 5 minutes to go if I’d take a point. We need one point, Sheffield need the 3 more than we do so that could suit us.
A point is minimum I’d take but this is our opportunity to grab promotion by the balls. Could have been playing to go eight clear of them but for that inexplicable performance against qpr but heyho.
The game does notkick off here till half one.Happy hour is all day on saturday i am expecting to be double happy.
Can’t help feeling this is going to be a hiding behind the settee looking through my fingers kind of watch.
,Gonna be worried sick about coming in from work,to go on the forum and read all what you guys are saying, don't know if my poor old ticker will be able to take the strain i need to be able to read something like Paaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaabbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbblo 1-0,and then BAAAAAAAAAAM---FORD 2-0 and then something like yessssssssssss finale whistle with a few So remember that lads pleeeeezy.
This is a game where we can do Sheffield U a big favour, the last thing they want is the humiliation of being relegated from the Prem with fewer points than Derby did.
