It remains to be seen whether Jansson will be fit following his shoulder injury inflicted by his teammate Phillips, if not Shaughnessy and Pennington will attempt to kept Jaap Stam's team at bay. A bad performance from Felix could relegate the German to the bench in forthcoming games, but should start on Saturday in my opinion. O'Kane is the only other injury worry, due to cracked ribs. We don't know the extent of the problem but I'd imagine he'll sit this one out especially after Christiensen was criticised so much on social media for playing him against the Wendies. Where does that put Klitch and Viera?
Good morning all, from a rather dull & overcast Southampton. This for me could be a defining game, weve had our blip, and will hopefully get back to winning ways with also a good performance. However another poor result & performance I think could settle the way things would possibly go for the rest of the season and even worse Glorry could be proved right . I realy hope this is the last chance for Felix,as imo has done nothing in any games to inspire confidence, and rebuilding the solid structure of our defence which we had earlier in the season should start with the keeper.
Best you lot can hope for is a boring 0-0 draw But I think Reading will nick a goal possibly 2 I would put Matts mortgage on it being 0-0 half time
Good Morning to Matt and co from a dull Bardsey As I said Lonegren should be given the chance in goal and Shaunesey in the back 4 I was pleased to hear that we have asked for planning permission to build a state of the art training facility near to ER This will give Bates and his greedy cohorts something to think about as he will lose vast rental income O'dear it couldn't happen to a nicer man!
Following the release of a report from Leeds City Council recommending formal discussions with the Club regarding the development of a new training centre, academy and community sports village at Elland Road, Leeds United Managing Director Angus Kinnear has spoken about how important it is for the Whites to be at the heart of our local community. We work with our Council, unlike our friends in Bermondsey, who are still fighting compulsory purchase orders with Southwark council.
word for word what ours said just changes Lions for whites here we go New Bermondsey all over again training centre, sports village where have I heard all this before its like a vote of confidence a manager gets just before given the boot I would fear the worst if I were you our chairman has the fight and the dosh to make it happen for his football club has yours
I can't see us beating Reading given the performances already seen against the better sides we have played. We will beat most of the poor teams (Millwall being the exception), lose/draw with the better ones because despite all the hullabaloo we are still an average championship side with average players. 10th -17th is where we will finish. Situation wont improve till we get a coach that understands the division, a style of play that competes with the physicality, and players prepared to battle for the ball. Oh and the DOF is just a **** set up and that wont work either. Rad needs to learn fast because he has created an expectation he hasn't got a hope of delivering on ATM.
Tenders will go out next with 99 year leases offered hope Rad has the dosh or shall we send renewal up you gave them a toe now their foots in and its been less than a week
Morning All - I think that's a good poll showing who is talked about most but I wouldn't say most valuable, depends how you define valuable. In cash terms I would say Pontus is worth most, based on last years displays, at the moment. Most valuable players to the team will be confidence and team spirit. We have good players but without these two key members we don't perform.
Morning ELM, I reckon it probably would be Saiz myself, though my favourite out the four would be Ayling.
I know what your saying about Saiz, and I think he will be but needs to prove he can deliver for the whole season and deal with defenses that have seen him play before. Ayling I think has found his home at Leeds and a real gem. I would like to convince myself it is being a Leeds player that helps him perform
That's really a difficult question to answer considering there are various valuable assets in various positions, not to mention the assets that combine well together. If someone clobbered me over noggin and said pick one, I'd say Saiz at this moment in time, but that can change if Saiz gets injured or loses form, and so on.
Well, there we go, Cardiff beat and Bristol City drawing at home to Burton. What more incentive do we need tomorrow? MOT!
