The Leeds gaffer was widely criticised for not recalling Joe Rodon back to the starting line up at St Mary's, opting instead to keep faith with the same XI that had beaten Watford the week before, including that of Liam Cooper. The Whites had been unbeaten in six games prior to their trip to St Mary's, and will be looking for an instance response, against a team with only two points from their previous four games. Their 3-1 home defeat to Coventry City last weekend saw them slip to 22nd in the Championship. please log in to view this image QPR are expected to be without Welsh International left-back Morgan Fox, who sustained a knee injury last weekend. Jake Clarke-Salter stands by to replace him. Jimmy Dunne is fit again after injury and could start for Gareth Ainsworth's men. Jack Colback is available for selection having served a three game ban after seeing red v Sunderland. Sinclair Armstrong could replace Lyndon Dykes up front. Djed Spence, Wilfred Gnonto, Junior Firpo and Stuart Dallas are all ruled out for Leeds, but Patrick Bamford could be due some more minutes, after his cameo role at the weekend. Archie Gray is pushing for a return to the first XI, which could see Glen Kamara drop to the bench. Jaidon Anthony has impressed during his four substitute appearances, and could replace Dan James on the wing.
Easy win. No problems. Big response from the team. 70% possession. 20 shots. 8 on target. 13 corners. Ampadu to put Chair in his pocket. Leeds 4-0 QPR.
Was a blinding first three minutes. If you get one early it’s probably not the worst bet on a repeat. Brian Deane would probably out-run our defence now.
Time to get back on track these are the teams we should be putting out of sight in the 1st half even Watford could do it. We should focus on a attacking mentality tomorrow because seriously they have nothing to hurt us. if we get a early one I can see a good tally tomoz. We need to be ruthless and start showing this division we mean business. 5 nowt to us.
Farke has been talking up QPR. Something about hardly conceding on the road and having quality on the break etc. Could be another potential 0-0 then.
Seem to remember that last time we were in the championship that the only win they had in about 27 games was against us. We tend to sort out teams losing streaks. I said before the Southampton game I’d have complete faith in Farke if he could break that hoodoo but he couldn’t. So not over confident about this one.
Will be one of those games where if we can hold firm and get the first goal we could get a few but could easily be a 0-0 or 0-1, hope I’m wrong as I feel like a lot of those games will happen over the course of the season.
My dad was there but then every QPR fan of a certain age claims they were despite probably bringing three figures.
He was at you when I was first getting into football (born 1990). I thought he was there longer than he was. Wiki says he fell out with George Graham which sounds likely.
He had a weight problem too. Coming to England, he got hooked on all kinds of junk food, though I remember an interview saying his favourite was Yorkshire pud... I love a Yorkshire pudding too, though I can never get it to rise!
Ah yes that’s right. Was listening to a podcast with someone from that squad who said he didn’t drink but would have a Yorkshire pudding with each round the others got in. Sounds like bollocks probably.
