There's no love lost between the two sides over the years, enflamed further by 'Spygate' and the 18/19 Championship Play-off Semi Final between the two sides. This remains Derby's only win over Leeds in the last seven games when they have met. With just one win in their last six, the Rams face the daunting task of taking on a Leeds side who have only lost once at home all season (in the league). Along with the Blades, Farke's side top the Championship form guide, winning all six of their last games at Elland Road. Paul Warne's chances of an upset are lessoned by the fact that key player Ebou Adams is ruled out through suspension, after picking up his fifth booking of the season against Sheffield Wednesday last weekend. On-loan Crystal Palace midfielder David Ozoh (hamstring/quad muscle issue) and defender Ryan Nyambe (posterior knee ligament) also miss out. Leeds have no new injury concerns. Max Wober and Largie Ramazani are being eased back to action gradually whilst Manor Solomon is pushing for a return to the starting line-up after being dropped during the 1-0 loss at Ewood Park last weekend. Ilea Gruev and Ethan Ampadu are long term casualties; with Joe Rothwell and AO Tanaka expecting to deputise. Daniel Farke continuous to favour Joe Piroe over Mateo Joseph, with the young Spaniard starting on the bench in nine out of ten of his previous games. Joe Rodon and Wilfred Gnonto are walking suspension tight-ropes. Both have four bookings each; but, if they can avoid being carded on Saturday, the immediate threat of a ban is lifted with the threshold raised to ten bookings before game-week 37.
Farke himself stated Byrams body is not capable of two games in a week so what does he do> Sticks him in twice in a week and he's broken down an hour into second game. Why do caches say one thing and do the exact opposite
Exactly the reason why Leeds should have started with Wober against Swansea. Wober played 90 mins for Austria!!!!
Yes. Wet and windy. I'm glad I'm not flying tomorrow. It was bad enough coming back from Belfast last night.
Forecast 40-50 mph winds mate. Might be an idea to keep an eye on cancellations. My mum is currently in the air from Belfast to Manchester and my 12 year old son is in the North sea travelling to Germany with school. I think Eire flies back after the game tomorrow. All piss taking aside, hopefully anyone travelling stays safe. It's gonna get rough.
In typical British understatement, its nothing but a breeze. It was windy that time when I was in Mauritius, and we were not allowed out of the hotel for 3 days due to a cyclone, so sat on our balcony watching fishing boats getting smashed to pieces. In all seriousness though, hope every one takes care and keeps safe
