Thanks Lee. I checked it out last night and have to say I'm not comfortable at all with them yet. That site looks like a carbon copy of what GFH would have produced. Maximising investments for investors. A distinct possibility this is another crowd that won't see past a balance sheet. Anyway we'll know very soon
Exactly what i thought when i saw it too. Was on a high since takeover / share holding. Then took a look at the site and saw the word investment firm, saw the suits and thought of gfh!
Interesting how many were drooling over the fact Radz was personally worth 450m or something. Irrelevant if the whole idea is to sell off pieces of the club again a la gfh tried. Add to that, deal took several months longer than expected to complete and nearly broke down in October before being resurrected. Doesn't a lot of this sound familiar. Hopefully wrong on this
Yup. Hence the portion that the Chinese (rumour) are looking to invest in. Also all going to be down to making money through media rights and TV negotiations, and deals with the far east to buy players from there to capture the Thai and Chinese audiences etc.
Big big game, chance to put some real daylight between us and Derby. Though they usually choke at this part of the season, from the chasing pack can realistically only see them Norwich and villa capable of putting up a run (assuming we keep going).
Eire, know nothing about Radz or his intentions so very much a watching brief for me but I guess it depends where you sit on Cellino, personally I thought the whole way he has run the club has been nothing short of amateurish, from the appointment of hockaday / junior, the treatment of staff, players bringing in their own food like a Sunday morning team and the countless court cases, locking sky out of a live game and then relenting. My humble opinion is it appears since the takeover / investment, the NDA and basically it would seem, him being told to shut the **** up, we have got better because the football people are being allowed to get on with the football side of things. Of course his supporters see this as his ability to learn from his mistakes (not something he's ever achieved before) but they could well be right.
I've no idea either how we've got to where we are today in the playoff positions. Might be Cellino, hopefully it's 110% down to the latter. One things for sure, Radz will be watched a lot closer than GFH were
Agree, fingers crossed situation but his company have a lot of sporting connections. For what it's worth, I think we've got to the playoff positions so far thanks to a lack of interference from above (whatever the reason) and the management and coaching of Monk, Clotet and Beattie
They're doing well. Could have had one earlier as well. Crap crowd - sounds like a pre-season friendly - half empty.
See pessimism is good, now I'm happy about their defeat but if they'd come back I'd have anticipated it
