Leeds defender Giuseppe Bellusci is fighting to be fit for a mid table clash against Cardiff City. The feisty central defender is getting over a calf strain, and will probably be rested. Cooper will be on stand by to partner Bamba in the centre of defence.

Surprisingly Adryan was dropped from the under 21 squad that beat Crewe (Crew Crew Crew) yesterday and trained with the first team instead. Does this suggest he may start in place of the injured Cook?

Montenegro scored again in the said 2-0 victory against Crewe, unfortunately some faces don't seem to fit....

Strikers Billy Sharp and Steve Morison are pushing for recalls.

Cardiff look set to be without Alex Revell and Federico Macheda after both strikers picked up back injuries.

Macheda missed the 3-0 home defeat to Bolton with a back problem but Revell returned, only to aggravate his own back injury five minutes before half-time, and the former Rotherham attacker now looks set to miss out at Elland Road.

Conor McAleny's sore leg saw him also sidelined for that disappointing loss and he will be assessed by the club's medical staff in the build-up to kick-off.

Ben Turner could return to the matchday squad but the game comes too soon for Anthony Pilkington and Kagisho Dikgacoi.

Last November Cardiff comfortably beat Leeds 3-1. and even though recent results have been poor, Leeds are a far different side to how they were five months.

It will be an interesting atmosphere at Elland Road as Cardiff have chosen not to bring fans along due to a row regarding ticket allocation.

    Who's the maddest?

    Cardiff Statement

With the 'terms and conditions' that Leeds 'offered', if you can call it that, to Cardiff fans that wanted to go to Elland Road on Saturday it was decided that the measly away allocation offered wouldn't be taken.

This means, in a move that the club have backed on the Official Website, the limited tickets offered to us have been returned and there will be no away fans at Leeds tomorrow....

Leeds, having received 2,000 unconditional tickets for the game at the Cardiff City Stadium earlier in the season, initially offered us 1,000 'restricted tickets.' In order to use this you had to 'swap a voucher for a match ticket en route.' Quite rightly this was rejected. The second offer was for 500 'unrestricted tickets' but, and again rightly this wasn't deemed acceptable by the fans.

It has been confirmed that the club has backed the fans' stance that this wasn't just with Ken Choo commenting in a statement, which reads in full as follows.

'It's extremely disappointing to have reached this conclusion, but having listened to collective views and in knowledge of the positive record and reputation Cardiff City fans have built at away fixtures in recent years, we have no option but to return the low number of unrestricted tickets on offer out of respect for our supporters.

'Our preference was for Cardiff City fans to be granted the same respect and freedom of travel as provided to over 2,000 Leeds supporters for the corresponding fixture this season, and we are frustrated that this could not be permitted.

'We consider the event to be routine and manageable and that that the travel and ticket restrictions in place are substantially out of proportion to any perceived risk.

'For the game on Saturday we are frustrated at not being able to support our players in what we consider to be fair numbers and also question the rationale in denying our request to show the fixture via beam-back at Cardiff City Stadium.'

A request to Leeds to have the game beamed back to the Cardiff City Stadium was also declined with Leeds saying that they hope to a 'mutually agreeable solution for next season's fixtures, both at Elland Road and at the Cardiff City Stadium' can be arranged.

Ellandback, I've graciously accepted the invite you placed on our board. Hopefully the game tomorrow will be remembered for a decent game (not that we've seen many from our boys lately) rather than all the off the field crap that is going on for both clubs. Will continue to monitor this thread.

Having being priced out of football from 98 to 04 I can think of no reason that I would cut off my nose and boycott ER. It's the sense of belonging and the us against the world feeling that make it addictive.

Those years from 81 to 91 were barren but I loved evey minute following the club everywhere we went. Nothing comes close and I have tried following loads of other sport. Touring cars is a good day out but there is no tribal sense of belonging following Plato or sheddon.

Do we need a win to convince Red Bull we are worth investing in or a defeat to persuade Cellino we are a lost cause and he needs to sell up?

Fair enough. Surely it's not long before you get a decent one, with Leeds best interests at heart? You've had a fair few rolls of the dice!

You won't find anyone here holding their breath.
Red bull seems the least worst option, but cellinos ego might scupper that.

    Let's hope so.

League have no common sense. Anyone with a lot of money can own a club
