The ex Leeds Utd assistant Manager is in caretaker charge of the Blues following Garry Monks sacking in the Summer! They have had an average start to the season collecting 16 points from eleven games. Leeds on the other hand are seven places higher. Should Leeds suffer defeat, the Midlanders will be one point behind them. Leeds await injury updates on Hernandez, Shackleton, Cooper and Forshaw. Should the trio of midfielders still be on the treatment table, you'd expect Dallas to revert back to the centre of the park. Barry Douglas may be preferred to Alioski having impressed during the second half at the Den and there is a big question mark over Costa. The on loan Wolves winger has not impressed in recent games and may well be replaced. The big question of everyone's mind is will Bielsa start with Nketiah. The England U21 forward bought his tally up to eight goals in seven appearances for his Country having scored a hattrick in midweek. His subsequent interview with Sky Sports will do little to endear himself to the chosen one! Surely Nketiah must start!
Brum a bit of a bogey team for us of late Another team that will disrupt our play by wasting time from the start, falling down at will, feigning injury, fouling in rotation, stopping us play by any means. In other words the type of club we struggle against. Score early & that spoils these outfits game plan. That's our problem we flatter to deceive, play some pretty stuff but fail to score early goals, in fact we struggle to score for long periods of games please log in to view this image
Not sure they’re as cynical under pep as they were under monk. Hopefully they come to play and we stuff them. Don’t like Brum, though clotet seems like a decent guy and did his bit for us when he was here.
We NEED to win this one and if we don't then it's an embarrassment to the club with it being our centenary game
No if's no but's no maybe's we need to win this one I don't care who mr Bielsa selects to play. We need to win to restore faith in the players and for the fans lose, and we are on the slippery slope well before Christmas. There is also the small matter of it being our centenary game.
Looks like there'll be a bit of a party going on at Elland Road on Saturday starting at 10am !! Anyone know if the shuttle bus from the town center is going to run a bit earlier ? Can't see anything on the club website.
Right that's it, wheres Bamford on saturday morning !!! i am personally gonna give him kick on the shin or somewhere (and i won't miss)
No he's become a hard man, offered out a full stand of millwall fans last week and they **** themselves.
Morning all. I have a feeling Marcelo will throw caution to the winds and will play Pat and Eddie up front and will go for goals.
