Kalvin Phillips was class. Wood was class. Sacko is a greedy **** but he's good in the championship. Oh, and I was going to marry my Mrs but I'm waiting for Pontus to become available.
Just wanted to add, green will always have a rick or two on him but kept us in the game with his one on one (forget the name of their guy). Good as a goal that stop. What a great result, I'm beginning to believe
Fair play Mighty........you give it out, but you you take it as well(not in a gay way before Glory starts another bender thread)
Great comments Chesh, bet Glory can find a negative though............pies were too hot, beer was watered down etc etc
First half we were very poor. Too much passong square by taylor. We invited them to challenge us and it very nearly cost us. One serious complaint from my mrs who was paying close attention.... Who streaks in their undies.... Whats the point?
I don't think it was that we were poor in the 1st half, more to do with villa coming for a draw. Booked the Clayton for the Florist match, hope you'll be around..
Got a few bottles of Old Peculiar and Newkie broon for christmas.........must not drink them before christmas
You will have drunk them by dinner time. Will be at the florist game... Is my forist supporting mate safe with you?
No we didn't. Wasn't great, but it was a battling first half to gain overall control.. Thar we got, and romped home 2-0
I am sorry our tactics and performance in the first half as suggested by Gary Monk were poor. Taylor and Pontus were guilty of square and back passing repeatedly and it invited pressure and caused us issues. Villa nearly scored and we could have conceded a penalty as a result. Not fishing... It happened right in front of me. North east corner.. East stand... Second half we were a hundred times better! The fact that we had so few deficiencies and were able to put them right is a sign (whisper it) of progress. We have had three years were nothing was good!
North east corner... Cant you read? Won the last twice we have sat there and I am staying there until we lose...
