While it could have been a different result on a different day, dropped points are dropped points, and it leaves the Whites going into this one with fans declaring it as a must win. Yeovil on the other hand picked up a shock 3-1 win against Notts Forrest last week. Gary Johnson has warned that he won't let his players enjoy their second win of the season too much, and has his sights firmly set on the visit to Elland Road. There hasn't been many of these fixtures in the past, only 6 League between the two sides, with Leeds unbeaten throughout. The previous two at Elland Road have ended in 4-0 victories for Leeds, something which the fans wouldn't turn their noses up at this week either! Dexter Blackstock also made a scoring start to his loan spell at Leeds, coming off the bench to grab an equaliser before Huddersfield finished the game off. He could be in line to make a start this weekend, and Leeds have no other selection worries injury or suspension wise. Yeovil Town Top Scorers (League) Ed Upson...4 Liam Davis...1 Joel Grant...1 While urging his players not to get carried away with the 3-1 win over Forrest, Gary Johnson must surely have his team picked for him. With no new injuries or suspensions to concern him, it is widely expected that the same team will head out this weekend against Leeds. Yeovil have struggled in front of goal this season though with only one of their goals coming from a forward. Ed Upson leads the scoring charts from midfield, and Leeds would do well to keep an eye on him. Durham's Prediction 2-0 win for Leeds is my guess. Yeovil will be fired up, but Leeds need to step up and prove that the Birmingham game wasn't just a fluke (I hope it wasn't a fluke!) and put the Huddersfield result behind us. With no disrespect to Yeovil, we should be winning this one, and it hasn't been often that I've been able to say that about a fixture this season. please log in to view this image Team wise, I fully expect us to continue with the 3-5-2 system, signing Marius pretty much confirmed that. I'm not so sure he will start in this game though, it depends on what his match fitness is like, having not played club football this season so far. Smith or Blackstock is an interesting one for me, and I'm still not 100% on who I think will start. I'm going to say Smith will be rewarded for some good performances recently and just about hold on for this game. Blackstock will definitely feature from the bench though. So all in all, unchanged from the team I put forward last week. It'll be good to get some consistency going with the selections. OK, over to the not606 faithful. Let's hear score predictions and what team you think will go out.
Marius walks in for me and so too does Blackstock, which means either Lees or pearce sitting it out and either Ross or Smith benched. This game is make or break and has to be 3-points. Anything less and our seasons over as we are falling further and further behind the top clubs every week. We spend too much time concentrating on worrying about Yeovil, Huddersfield etc as they clubs should be nowhere near us in quality. Losing to another bottom team is desperate and even getting all 3 points still means we have a mountain to climb to get anywhere near the play off places. Even if we went on a run and won our next 4 games we would still be possibly 4 wins behind the top place
Another fine thread LiD. I don't think Blackstock will start, as I think the Smith Ross combination still looks good and BMD won't want to upset the applecart. On MZ, maybe he will, maybe he won't. Think he could replace either Lees or Pearce, depending on who BMD blames for last weekend. Alternatively, given that MZ played earlier this week, he might keep the same 3 CBs and hint at who's in the frame to lose out longer term. Either way, I think we should win this at a canter. If not, questions might just start to be asked about BMD's future. My view 3-0 Leeds
Broke an age old habit of not laying money on a Leeds win last week and they cost me £160 in my accumulator so blame me for the defeat (and Lees) Won't be including us in any bets this week so should win this one, possibly 3-2
5-0 Leeds and no come back from the 'Wall contingent. Maybe the thought of their impending relegation and our imminent rise to the PL have finally silenced them. Don't worry Mighty, we won't forget you as we head towards Champions League glory and you enjoy the delights of Yeovil away on a cold damp Tuesday night in the Johnstone's Paint!!!
Think we will scrape a 2-1 win to keep our season movie forward slowly. Id settle for that now as Im sure so would most Leeds fans and McD. Keep the immediate pressure off

Why would you put a defender in who hasn't had a club for 6 months It's utter madness, you haven't even seen him play. Do we ever learn from chucking players straight in. Let him gently find his feet And how can you drop Pearce, he's been best defender this season
Fair point LIW other than the fact that he played for his country recently and played for us in a development game in midweek where he was apparently "head and shoulders above everyone else" according to BMD. That said and having noted that Pearce looked slow last week, I agree at least in part that MZ shouldn't waltz straight in to the team. Let's see what Lees, Pearce, & Wooten do knowing that there is apparently a class act sitting on the bench waiting for his chance.
Try a different server boggers i put up a little "GIF" like this one please log in to view this image
Not possible Mighty. Office computer and definitely no chance of me getting anywhere near changing servers.
They probably have a gif ban ( or certain programmes banned ) so i suppose you should be thankful you can get 606 at all Did you get the link i sent you ? Did it help ?
Ide like to think we'll win this an we should really be beating them but I just don't know anymore, a lot depends on what team turns up, although our home for is decent. Ide be worried if it was away. On Markus I can't see him starting as he's not full fitness an centre back isn't really a position you want to be changing after 60 mins unless things are already goin badly wrong. Ide like to see Smith stay in the team and be given a decent run as he's on fire at the minute. Put Dexter in and give Ross a break in my opinion.
I just hope we don't replace Blackstock for Ross, then play Ross as AM and push Rudy back into that DM position.
Agreed entirely GH. A simple 352 with Ross and Smith as the 2, & Austin in the middle of the 5. He has a good engine & can easily go box to box. If push comes to shove and he needs a break, Brown can come on as DM. We move to a diamond formation, Ross can then move back to AM, & Blackstock can come on in place of one of the other midfielders. Think that works.
