This on the back of a 1-1 draw against Birmingham all adds to how desperate Leeds are getting to end this abysmal winless streak. Despite managing to climb the table with a point at the weekend, the Whites are still perilously close to the drop zone. Not ideal then, that the midweek opponents are top of the table Bournemouth. Eddie Howes men are enjoying a fine season, and look set to pile on the misery on a cold night under the Elland Road floodlights. 8 Leeds Wins 2 Draws 1 Bournemouth Wins There might not be many previous League meetings between these two, but there is certainly history. That infamous bank holiday weekend on the south coast lives long in the memory of these fans. While Leeds have dominated the meeting in the past, many wouldn't bet against Bournemouth adding to their 'wins' total here. Indeed the form book says exactly that. The last 5 games have seen Leeds pick up 2 draws, while Bournemouth have won 4. The Cherries defence has been mean this season contributing to their +30 goal difference, and the Leeds back 4 will have their work cut out for them. Bournemouth have won 7 of their last 8 away matches in Championship. Bournemouth have kept a clean sheet in 5 of their last 7 away matches in Championship. Bournemouth have been winning at both half time and full time in 5 of their last 6 matches in Championship. Bournemouth have scored at least 2 goals in 8 of their last 9 matches in Championship. Leeds have failed to win their last 7 matches in Championship. The Damned Prediction 2-1 Bournemouth Win please log in to view this image A slight deviation from my suggested formation from the weekend. The flat 4-5-1 becomes a 4-2-3-1 with Doukara coming into the side to fill the left attacking berth. I've gone for Murphy and Austin as the holding players, and I really couldn't decide between Cook and Adryan for the central attacking role. Even trying to put an optimist head on I'd be amazed if we come away with our much needed win from this one. Bournemouth have been too good this season. Then again, we beat Derby when they came to Elland Road at their peak this season, so who knows. We are still struggling to score, but despite that I've gone for a 2-1 Bournemouth win. If Redfearn deploys Cook on the left wing again, we'll have a real weakness down that side, which could well be exploited.
Despite the gee up the team might get from the Cellino bad news, I can't see Redders selections beating Bournemouth. We need Adryan as the playmaker and Bianchi in middle as the player most likely to break up many of their attacks.
Get your money on the whites to win. I've booked a ticket to go tonight and now find myself in bed too ill to go so you can guarantee they will win and put on the diet of performance we will talk of for years to come.
Lets hope they can concentrate on getting a good result this evening not sure who their dangermen are they are just a good workmanlike team with an excellent manager. It would cheer me up no end for a win as afew years ago they refused to let me have a ticket because I came from Leeds!

One change for #lufc tonight - Mowatt replaces Antenucci. He'll play on the left wing in a 4-2-3-1 formation.
So now that Cook has clearly proved that he's not a left winger, Redders is setting out to prove that Mowatt isn't a left winger either. I give up! What's next? Montenegro in goal?

Durham, great job with the thread given the new set of tools! I'm going for a Leeds win as always, 2-1. I hope the players get a whiff of the -15 laughing gas and stick it to the Football League in the best way possible. MOT, f*** the rest.
Jocko, young Mowatt can play on the left, but doesn't have the pace to stretch defences ... he will be tidy and should help protect Taylor, played many games wide left for U18s Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
