I was bored and noticed no one has done a Match thread yet Thought I'd give it a shot despite my ones (only a few) generally being pretty **** in the past LEEDS V WATFORD Venue: Elland Road Leeds are looking to give there late surge for the play-offs alive when they play Watford at Elland Road. O'Dea is suspended after getting his 10th yellow card of the season so will sit out a 2 match suspension. Bruce played alongside him on the weekend and Neil Warnock must decide whether to bring Tom Lees back into the center after moving him to Right back in a bid to 'protect him from Millwall's physical strikers'. Andy O'Brien played a behind the closed doors game last week but will most likely miss out still. There are no new injury concerns for Warnock's men Meanwhile Watford look to extend their 6 match unbeaten run. Watford have picked up form of late and won last time out from behind against Ipswich 2-1 with late goals from Murray and Deeney securing the win. Both Marcello Trotta and Alex Kacaniklic have returned to parent club Fulham with their deals ending and cutting short respectively. The last 6 results between the two teams: Leeds wins: 2 Watford wins: 1 Draws: 3 10/12/11, Watford - Leeds 1 : 1 16/04/11, Leeds - Watford 2 : 2 28/08/10, Watford - Leeds 0 : 1 21/05/06, Leeds - Watford 0 : 3 14/02/06, Leeds - Watford 2 : 1 01/10/05, Watford - Leeds 0 : 0 Leeds' last 6 results 24/03/12, Millwall - Leeds 0 : 1 20/03/12, Leeds - Forest 3 : 7 17/03/12, Leeds - West ham 1 : 1 11/03/12, Middlesbrough - Leeds 0 : 2 06/03/12, Hull - Leeds 0 : 0 03/03/12, Leeds - Southampton 0 : 1 Watford's last 6 results 24/03/12, Watford - Ipswich 2 : 1 20/03/12, Bristol City - Watford 0 : 2 17/03/12, Watford - Coventry 0 : 0 10/03/12, Derby - Watford 1 : 2 07/03/12, West Ham - Watford 1 : 1 03/03/12, Watford - Burnley 3 : 2 Leeds United's expected line-up -----------------Lonergan------------------- Connolly-------Lees------Bruce-------Robinson Snoddy-------Clayton------Brown--------White -------------Becchio------Rosco--------------- Watford's expected line-up: (I have no idea) -----------------Kuszczak------------------- Doyley-----Taylor------Nosworthy------Dickinson Eustace-------Murray------Yeates--------Hogg -------------Deeney------Garner--------------- My prediction: A 2-0 win for leeds with Rosco and Clayton getting the goals. It will no doubt be a tough game but I can see us edging it with a later goal to secure the win. Think we need a win as well to keep play-offs hopes a live, this whole week, each day I have started to get a little more optimistic but if we win this it may rise quite a bit Anyway, thoughts or predictions?

But with goals not really a speciality in for Watford at the beginning of the season but now the defence and goal scoring capability is coming to show and in there last 5 matches conceding just 3 goals and scoring 7 there fortunes may have begun to change. Defence is still not brilliant for Leeds but they came away with a hard fought 3 points and clean sheet away to Millwall, with regular CB O'Dea out Warnock will be forced to shuffle his back 4. Expect a Bruce,Lees,Robinson,Bromby back 4 with Lees moving to RB once more. In there last 5 matches Leeds have conceded 8 goals (7 against Florist) and scored 7. Will Mccormack and co have enough firepower to end Watford's recent good form. My prediction is a 1-0 Leeds win, Brown being the unlikely hero. Over to the Leeds and Watford faithful. Keep the banter flowing MOT Enoch x
Think Whites gunna miss out through injury Josh. I expect Leeds play off hopes to finally end after an 8-3 drubbing.
I am mate. Not been on much recently, went into hiding after the Forest result and have some major revision to get done. Still find time to wind up Leicester fans every now and then .
I would not be so sure. West ham thought that a few weeks ago, as did Derby. We are unbeaten in 6 and making a mini charge up the table. I think it will be very tight and have gone for 0-1 but it could easily end as a draw. I would expect the team will be as follows (if you wish to edit it) -----------------Kuszczak------------------- Doyley-----Taylor------Nosworthy------Dickinson Murray---------Eustace------Hogg------Yeates -------------Deeney------Garner---------------
We are currently 2nd in the form table (over the last 6 games). Southampton are the only Championship side to collect more points than ourselves in the last 6 games.

Oh yeah, forgot about that. More proof, if needed that the old mush-brain and his legion of tossers haven't forgotten about us. Not that it will stop me giving Kuszczak a good mouthful. He's already error-prone enough, so hopefully a bit of encouragement from the Kop will have him Rachubkaing long into the evening.
